About mydentist, Pyle Street, Newport

Welcome to {my}dentist Pyle Street, Newport. We have 2 clinicians on hand covering a variety of NHS, private and {my}options treatment plans including dentures, take home teeth whitening and our orthodontic service, Inman Aligners. Within our team we have Dr Barry Hickey who is a specialist Orthodontic following various training courses and the completion of a Masters degree in Orthodontics. Our Hygienists Ms Sarah Banks and Alison Whyler are also on hand to provide hygiene appointments. Our practice is a 3 minute walk from Drill Hall Road bus stop, with limited public car parking around the practice. If you have any questions or would like to book in for a consultation the team would love to hear from you. We welcome all patients to our practice and ensure all individuals are treated with the utmost care and attention from our highly skilled staff. We look forward to seeing you soon.

  • Mrs.Sarah Jane Banks (Hygienist) Qualified from: CEB Dip Dent Hygiene 1995 UK, 1995 GDC No: 4129
    Sarah qualified as a dental hygienist from Cardiff Dental School in 1991, gaining the British Dental Hygienist Association Award, Final Examination Prize and Clinical Prize. She has since undertaken training in additional duties and continues to study towards developing her career. Sarah has spent many years working in both private and NHS practices on the Island. Her free time is spent with her husband and two children. She enjoys gardening, aerobics, yoga and reading. Sarah is happy to see both patients registered with the practice or those wishing to see a hygienist who are not. Sarah has just recently completed a home teeth whitening course, so is hoping to build a portfolio for this in the near future.
