Becoming a new patient

To join a practice as a new patient, simply call the practice of your choice and a member of our team will be happy to walk you through the process.

What will happen at my first dental appointment?

Typically, we ask all new patients to see us for a thorough dental examination. This will involve an examination of your mouth, teeth, and gums – including a visual screening for oral cancer. This process gives the clinician an idea of your general dental health but also allows you to get to know the dentist and practice.

After your examination, a diagnosis will be made and an appropriate treatment plan presented to you. This stage is the perfect time to ask any questions about your care, before you commit to further treatment.

Can I visit a practice before registering?

We hope that you will decide to join one of our practices as a patient, if it helps in your decision, you are very welcome to arrange to visit the practice beforehand. Simply contact us with a few days of advance notice, so that we can arrange a suitable time to show you around and meet some of our friendly and experienced practice team.
