DENTAL CARE DURING COVID-19
Our practices are open for NHS and private dental treatments and you should continue to attend all pre-booked dental appointments. If you have a new enquiry, please call us in the first instance and only attend practices in person if you have an appointment. In our practices, please wear a face covering, attend alone if possible and arrive on time for appointments. Do not attend if you, or anyone you live with, has symptoms of Covid-19, has tested positive, or has been asked to self-isolate by NHS Test & Trace or their school.

"Despite opening at 8.30am I tried to phone at 8.30 and a further twenty attempts up to 8.55 and was just met with either " your call will be answered shortly then followed by please try later then cut off or another message just saying please try later , very frustrating then finally answered at 9.03 and put in a queue , the receptionist was very flat and matter of fact , if they don't want to answer the phone before 9.00 am they should say so ."

"I have been a patient for many many years at this practice. I attended for my 6 monthly check up to be told by the receptionist you have to pay for your treatment before you go in to see the dentist now!! I was flabbergasted! Is this normal dentistry practice nowadays? Or just My Dentist's practice? I have worked in the NHS for almost 30 years and fear for what the future holds. Very disillusioned and disappointed patient. I did not book my next follow up as would previously have done."

"Thank you for fitting me in at short notice on a Saturday! Receptionist was so empathetic, despite not usually taking 'walk in's' and arranged for me to be seen as my usual dentist was closed. Dentist was cery professional and saw me quickly. I can now finally see the light atvthe end of the tunnel after a week of pure agony following my wisdom tooth removal. Cant thank you enough!"

What are the benefits?

This patient required a lower back molar to be extracted due to decay found within the tooth. The patient was given different options of what was available to him. After discussions with the dentist, the patient decided to go ahead with an implant as the best way to replace the missing tooth.
The process of replacing a lost tooth with an implant and a porcelain crown started on the 8th February 2018. The tooth was crowned, but decay necessitated the need for extraction. The implant and crown seemed to be the best alternative as a replacement. Six months later I find the new tooth to be problem free. The whole process of replacement ran smoothly and I would trust Stefan to do it all again.

This patient attended for an Airflow appointment from our Hygienist Tracey. The patient had lots of staining due to high coffee consumption and being an ex-smoker. The airflow treatment is designed to remove staining from teeth, giving them a brighter, whiter appearance. The airflow also works to remove debris which may have built up between teeth, supporting good oral hygiene.
Felt at ease, very friendly atmosphere. I wasn't too sure what to expect with airflow treatment. The hygienist was very considerate and kept stopping as I needed. My teeth feel much smoother and shine more since the treatment
