Ciara Dorrian graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast in July 2012 with several distinctions. Ciara thoroughly enjoyed her five years training in Belfast but also looked forward to coming back to her hometown where she completed her dental foundation training year locally. Following this, Ciara then applied for an associate dentist position at Foyle Dental Spa, now known asmydentist, Foyle Dental Centre in August 2013. She has been happily working there now for over four years. In this time she has built up great working relationships with the staff and has built a healthy patient list and an excellent rapport with her patients. Ciara is very settled in Derry and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, in particular restorative dentistry and she looks forward to developing her training and expertise in this field in the near future.

Michaela graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2012. Since then she has completed VT training in Derry and has continued to work locally. Michaela has worked inmydentist Foyle for over 3 years and thoroughly enjoys working in this practice. Michaela's aim is to put her patients at ease and make them feel comfortable and welcome in the dental practice. With a keen interest in all aspects of dentistry, she strives to provide the best quality of dental treatments and enjoys the day to day procedures. Michaela is particularly interested in aesthetic dentistry and has qualified in short term orthodontics, she has also completed training in Facial Aesthetics. She really enjoys doing composite fillings and changing smiles with this minimally invasive procedure. Michaela hopes to complete some new restorative courses in the near future to develop new techniques to provide here atmydentist Foyle.

Victoria gained her BDS from Glasgow University. As an undergraduate she participated in an international internship with the University of Baltimore, Maryland, US and their world-renowned Maxillo-Facial trauma team. Here she gained hands on experience in implant training and placement. Continuing her studies she was one of four post-graduate students to gain a place on the competitive Northern Ireland General Professional Dental Training Scheme. There she gained experience in general practice as well as in oral surgery and special needs dentistry. Following this she then took further exams to become a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and Faculty of Dental Surgery in Edinburgh. She has also completed her sedation training in London with the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry of which she is a continuing member.

Samantha joined the team in 2013 and has developed a good relationship with all our dentists. She qualified as a dental hygienist in June 2011 from Queens University. Before this Samantha was a qualified dental nurse in both private and NHS community dentistry. She is very passionate in trying to help our patients to achieve healthy teeth and gums. Samantha achieves this by educating patients in a relaxed environment and by building trust between her and her patients..
Samanthas main area of expertise is cosmetic stain removal along with whitening which she really enjoys. Using our airflow system she can remove the most stubborn stains caused by smoking, tea/coffee and red wine, giving patients a beautiful white smile again.

Rosemary graduated from University of Glasgow in 2010, became a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2012 and obtained a masters in restorative and aesthetic dentistry from the University of Manchester in 2016.
Rosemary has a wide range of experience as she has worked in general practice, hospital dentistry and community dentistry.
She is a friendly, approachable person who puts her patients at ease. For anxious patients she is qualified to provide IV midazolam sedation.
Aesthetics is an area she is interested, both in the field of dentistry and facial aesthetics. She is available to provide treatments such as; botulinum toxin, dermal fillers and skin peels. She completed her training for these at Harley Street, London.
Rosemary joined the practice after moving back to her hometown, Derry.

Julie graduated from the University of Dundee in 2005. After graduation Julie began working in Omagh, Co Tyrone. Over the next 12 years Julie worked hard to improve both her communication and clinical skills. Julie also spent time furthering her education on several courses and achieved a postgraduate diploma in dental studies from the University of Bristol with a masters in restorative and aesthetic dentistry and with merit from the University of Manchester. Julies aim was to improve her knowledge and skills in modern restorative techniques. Julie is focused on encouraging and creating a relaxed family friendly environment where all patients feel comfortable expressing their dental desires and receiving good quality dental care.

Sara graduated from the University of Manchester in 2016 and has been working across both England and Northern Ireland and has gained extensive experience in Private and NHS dental treatment.
Sara relocated back home and is working atmydentist Foyle. She enjoys travelling and is fascinating to chat to about her experiences across the globe.
Sara has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics including dermal fillers and antiwrinkle treatments as well as endodontics (root canal treatment).
Sara gets great satisfaction in the amazing results she has seen from her cosmetic treatments and her happy patients. She likes to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the clinics

Laura Cassidy graduated from dentistry at Queens University Belfast with a distinction in paediatrics. She has worked in England for 2 years after graduating and started work atmydentist Foyle in September 2017. To date Laura has completed part 1 of the MJDF exams of the royal college of surgeons and is now work towards completing part 2 of the MJDF. Laura strives to provide the highest standards in dental care. She aims to educate patients to enable them to prevent dental disease. Laura enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a particular interest in the provision of aesthetic restorations.
