    Alexandra Callaghan GDP Qualified from: BDS University of Birmingham 2012 GDC No: 228829

    Alli Callaghan studied Dental Surgery at the University of Birmingham, qualifying in 2012 with the award for Clinical Excellence. After completing her dental foundation training in North Yorkshire in 2013 she volunteered in a charity dental mission to the Philippines where she provided dental treatment to local people in much need of dental care and in severe pain. She spent a year in Australia working as a Dental Officer for the Queensland Government, practicing closely with a Maxillo-Facial trained surgeon. She enjoys general practice and also offers Invisalign treatment to straighten teeth. The most important aspects of dentistry to her is getting to know her patients and gaining their trust so she can provide the best possible care for them.

    Claire Bugler (E) GDP Qualified from: BChD University of Leeds 2001 GDC No: 79288

    In 1996 Dr Bugler moved to Yorkshire where she qualified in dentistry at the University of Leeds in 2001. After completing her vocational training in general practice, she joined a orthodontic practice in 2002. While still having interests in general practice, Dr Bugler's also enjoys and works with orthodontics. She currently works for myorthodontist a sister practice treating NHS patients using removable, functional and fixed appliances. Her extensive experience in general practice helps to achieve the best possible results for all of her patients in both settings. In her spare time Dr Bugler enjoys playing tennis, travelling and spending quality time with her husband and two daughters.

    Georgina Saul GDP Qualified from: BChD University of Leeds 2015 GDC No: 258776

    Georgina moved from her hometown of Sheffield in 2010 to study for her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the Leeds Dental Institute. After qualifying in 2015, she then spent a year completing her NHS foundation training in Horsforth before joining mydentist and moving to the Pudsey practice in 2016.Since then Georgina has been working full time at the practice and currently works with nurses Lauren and Chloe seeing a mix of both NHS and private patients. She also works occasional Saturdays seeing children as part of mydentist kids clubs initiative. In her spare time she enjoys yoga and running with the Pudsey Pacers.

    Iain studied his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Newcastle university qualifying in 1997 where he then worked at a dental practice in Blyth, Northumberland to complete his foundation dentist year.Joining mydentist Pudsey Dental Practice in 2002, Iain works 5 days a week with his fantastic nurse Louise and prides himself on providing a great quality of care, working with anxious patients throughout their treatment. He has formed great relationships with his patients over the years since joining the team and looks forward to many more years in the practice.In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, going to the gym and spending time with his family and friends.

    Jaswinder Panesar GDP Qualified from: BDS University of Dundee 1982 GDC No: 56617

    Jaswinder graduated at the Dundee Dental School in 1982, after graduation he went on to work as a Dental Associate for 5 years. In 1988 he bought and ran his own dental practice in Halifax as a Principal Partner which he then sold in 2009 and decided to stay on for a further 2 years. In 2011 he worked in the private sector for 3 years. Joining mydentist in 2014, Jaswinder provides both private and NHS treatment, with a special interest and talent in facial aesthetics. He loves to help patients not only improve their smile but frame their smile by providing anti wrinkle injections and fillers which he has been providing for over 15 years.

    Karen Cox GDP Qualified from: BChD University of Leeds 2007 GDC No: 114761

    Karen began her dental career in 1997 when she accepted a position as a trainee dental nurse at G.J Nicols & Partners Dental Surgeons (currently mydentist Pudsey)She continued to work as both a dental nurse and oral health educator until she made the decision to train to be a dentist.Karen qualified in 1999 from Leeds Park Lane College, with the National Certificate for Dental Nurses. She continued to work as a dental nurse in the year 2000 and qualified from the Leeds Dental Institute with a National Oral Health Education Certificate where she was then awarded the Jackson Prize in Paediatrics and the David H Ruckett prize in Oral Surgery. karen then qualified in 2007 from the University of Leeds with a degree of Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery and returned back to mydentist Pudsey to work as a dental practitioner.

  • Emma Woodward Hygienist Qualified from: BSc (Hons) in Dental Hygiene Teesside University 2024 Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 QCF City & Guilds 2016 GDC No: 262811

    Emma qualified as a Dental Hygienist from the University of Teesside in 2024, building on a strong foundation in dentistry that she has built on over several years. She began her career in dentistry as a qualified dental nurse in 2016. She then pursued further professional development by completing a post-qualification in implant dental nursing in 2019. Drawing on her extensive chairside experience as a dental nurse, Emma integrates her hands-on clinical knowledge into her everyday practice as a hygienist. This allows her to take a well-rounded approach to patient care, ensuring treatments are both thorough and patient-centred. With a keen interest in implant maintenance and preventative care, she provides tailored treatment plans to help patients achieve long-term oral health. In addition to the patients she sees on our hygiene plan, Emma also sees many patients between their checkups or during courses of treatment to ensure stable oral health. Outside of her professional life, Emma enjoys hiking, travelling and spending time with her friends and family.

  • Dr. Mohammed Mudassar Akhtar
    Dr. Mohammed Mudassar Akhtar Oral Surgeon Qualified from: BDS University of Manchester 2014 GDC No: 252823

    Mudassar graduated from the University of Manchester, attaining honours in 3 out the 5 years he studied there. Alongside this, he won the Edgar Houghton Operative Dentistry Prize for the technically best finals clinical case upon graduating. He ranked in the top 2% of the country during national recruitment and worked in his hometown of Rochdale for his vocational training. He then spent the following year working as a core trainee in oral and maxillofacial surgery in five hospitals, expanding his surgical repertoire. In 2017, Mudassar attained the MFDS qualification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Alongside this, he trained in providing intravenous sedation as well as gaining the FGDP Diploma in Implant Dentistry, accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He then completed an European Masters in Implant Dentistry from University Juan Carlos in Madrid, Spain. Mudassar has also trained in advanced endodontics in the UK and Dubai in addition to completing an Advanced Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry course with Basil Mizrahi on Harley Street in London. Outside of dentistry, Mudassar enjoys spending time with his family and friends and playing Padel. He is an avid boxing and UFC fan.
