    Harriet Turner GDP Qualified from: BDS Newcastle University 2017 GDC No: 271376

    Harriet Turner graduated from Newcastle Dental School in 2017 and began her career in Welshpool, where she spent four years providing general dentistry and developing her clinical skills. In 2021, she relocated to Cornwall and joined mydentist Helston, where she provides both NHS and private dental care. Harriet has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and is a certified ClearCorrect provider, helping patients achieve straighter smiles using clear aligners. She is passionate about creating positive dental experiences and takes pride in providing high-quality care in a calm and welcoming environment. Harriet believes in building strong relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel informed, comfortable and confident throughout their treatment. Alongside her clinical work, Harriet is actively involved in dental education. She supervises fourth-year dental students from Plymouth University in Truro and mentors UCLan International Dental Programme students at mydentist Falmouth, supporting the development of future dental professionals. Committed to ongoing professional development, Harriet is currently studying towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education, further developing her skills as both a clinician and educator while continuing to provide excellent care for her patients.

    Dr Isabel Kerr qualified from King’s College London in 2017 and has been providing high-quality, patient-centred dental care ever since. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalised treatment and preventative care. Isabel is particularly dedicated to supporting nervous patients and understands that visiting the dentist can feel daunting for some people. She takes the time to listen to concerns, explain treatment options clearly and ensure patients feel informed and comfortable throughout their appointments. Her calm, friendly approach helps build trust and encourages patients to feel more confident about their oral health. She believes that prevention is key to maintaining a healthy smile and enjoys working closely with patients to develop good oral health habits that last a lifetime. Whether carrying out routine examinations, restorative treatments or providing oral health advice, Isabel strives to make every visit a positive experience. Outside of dentistry, Isabel enjoys spending time with family and friends, keeping active and exploring new places whenever she gets the opportunity.

    Lindsay Anderson GDP Qualified from: LDS Royal College of Surgeons Of England 1982 GDC No: 56739

    Trained at University College Hospital, LondonQualified LDSRCS(Eng) in 1982Worked in general practice near Oxford for six years and did some oral surgery training at the John Radcliffe Hospital.Moved to Cornwall in August 1988 and later that year joined this practice as an associate. Went into partnership in 1993 and later became a vocational trainer for newly qualified dentists for twelve years.Lindsay has always aimed to provide a high standard of work both within the NHS and Privately. He enjoys keeping up to date with the latest treatments and is a highly skilled clinician. He has a keen interest in cosmetic work and loves to see a patient’s smile and confidence restored. He works well with nervous patients, is empathetic and spends time gaining their trust. In 2012 Lindsay became an associate with {my}dentist and semi-retired in 2016.

  • Scott Powell GDP Qualified from: BDS University of Birmingham 2012 GDC No: 228342

    Scott graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2012 with a Clinical Scholarship award and BDA prize in Restorative Dentistry. He began his career working as a General Practitioner in Cornwall before undertaking a Senior House Officer position in the Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Restorative dentistry departments at Birmingham Dental Hospital. During this time he was also an honorary clinical lecturer for the University of Birmingham. In 2016 he gained a Diploma of Membership from the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. For the past few years Scott has worked in general practice in both Cornwall and Weymouth. In 2019 he qualified as a facial aesthetics practitioner and provides a range of facial anti-aging and rejuvenate treatments. More recently he also qualified in providing anti sweat procedures. Scott enjoys using his vast range of skills to provide excellent clinical care for all of his patients. Outside of Dentistry Scott takes full advantage of coastal living and enjoys spending free time painting and playing the Saxophone.

  • Holly Greer Hygienist Qualified from: Diploma Dental Hygiene Cardiff University 2013 National Certificate NEBDN 2010 GDC No: 206054

    Dental Hygienist - DipHE Cardiff 2013 Prior to becoming a Dental Hygienist, Holly was a Dental Nurse in Helston before moving to Cardiff to study at Cardiff Dental School. Upon her return to Cornwall, she’s worked at several dental practices over the years gaining valuable experience. Holly has advanced her skills with frequent dental courses to now have a specialised interest in Advanced Periodontal Non-Surgical Treatments. She seeks referrals from Dentist from in house and from surrounding dental practices. These advanced treatments help a patient keep their own teeth. Alongside these treatments, Holly has an established and loyal patient following who attend her clinic for routine Scale & Polish treatments to maintain good Oral Hygiene & Health. She prides herself in providing the best possible care she can for all the patients she meets.

    Michaela Skewes began her dental career in 2006 after completing her A-levels at Redruth Sixth Form College and training as a Dental Nurse. She gained experience working in a variety of mixed NHS and private practices before joining the Oral Surgery Department at Treliske Hospital, where she further developed her clinical knowledge and skills. In 2015, Michaela studied at the University of Salford and qualified as a Dental Therapist. During her training, she was awarded the Academic Achievement Award in recognition of her academic performance and clinical excellence. Following her qualification, Michaela returned to Cornwall, where she has worked full-time as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist across both NHS and private practices. She provides care through both referral and direct access appointments, with a strong focus on prevention, patient education and helping patients achieve long-term oral health. Michaela particularly enjoys supporting anxious patients and works hard to create a calm, welcoming environment that helps build confidence and trust. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Cornwall with her husband, walking their two Yorkshire Terriers, and spending time with family and friends
