Ijaz Hussain Endodontist Qualified from: Statutory Exam 2009 MFDS Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow 2005 BDS Peshawar 1996 GDC No: 176065

Dr Ijaz Hussain qualified as a dentist in 1996 after completing his studies at the University of Peshawar in Pakistan. He spent six years working in general practice before moving to the UK to further develop his clinical skills and experience. During this time, he held Senior House Officer posts across several NHS hospital trusts and achieved his MFDS (RCPS) qualification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2005. In 2009, Ijaz passed the ORE examination and completed his Dental Foundation Training the following year. He now works in general practice with a special interest in endodontics, having completed a Master’s degree in Endodontology at the University of Chester in 2017. This advanced training has strengthened his expertise in delivering high‑quality root canal treatments. Alongside his practice work, Ijaz is part of the Endodontology Department at Manchester Dental Hospital, where he manages complex endodontic cases as a Specialty Dentist. He also accepts referrals within the practice and is frequently consulted by colleagues for advice on challenging cases. In addition, he works as a Clinical Teacher in Endodontics at the University of Manchester, supervising qualified dentists undertaking specialist training.

Krishan Varma Implantologist Qualified from: BDS University of Manchester 2007 GDC No: 113646

Dr Krishan Varma is an experienced implant dentist with a distinguished career focused on dental implant treatment. He qualified from the University of Manchester in 2007 and began providing implant treatments in 2010. To further deepen his expertise, he completed an MSc in Dental Implantology at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and has continued to expand his skills internationally at several world‑leading training centres, including the Kois Centre in Seattle, Harvard University in Boston and the Urban Bone Regeneration Institute in Hungary. Since 2016, Krishan has limited his practice exclusively to implant dentistry, working as a peripatetic clinician across multiple clinics nationwide. Over the course of his career, he has successfully placed and restored more than 4,000 implants, gaining extensive experience in a wide range of clinical situations. His scope of practice includes single‑tooth implants, full‑mouth rehabilitation, immediate implant placement and advanced bone and soft‑tissue regeneration procedures. In addition to his clinical work, Krishan is passionate about education and serves as a mentor to clinicians in training to place or restore implants, supporting their development and helping raise standards in implant dentistry.

Maryam Amerah Sarwar GDP Qualified from: DDM Medical University of Plovdiv 2023 GDC No: 312917

Dr Maryam Sarwar was born and raised in Manchester and completed her dental training at Plovdiv Medical University in Bulgaria, graduating in 2023. Since qualifying, she has worked as a general dentist, providing comprehensive and inclusive care with a strong focus on patient comfort and high clinical standards. Maryam has a growing interest in cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery, regularly undertaking postgraduate courses to expand her skills. She has completed advanced training in composite bonding and clear aligner treatments, enabling her to help patients achieve natural, confident smiles tailored to their individual needs. She is passionate about building trusting relationships with her patients and believes dentistry should be a positive and reassuring experience. Her aim is to enhance both oral health and confidence while maintaining excellent patient satisfaction. Outside of dentistry, Maryam enjoys hiking, skiing and running, and she is rarely without a good cup of coffee to start her day.

Meenakshi Java GDP Qualified from: Statutory Exam 2008 BDS Goa 1996 GDC No: 152894

Dr Meenakshi Java obtained her dental degree in India in 1997. After working some years in India, teaching students in Dental School and working in a private practice, she moved to the UK in 2004. She passed the GDC statutory exams in London and obtained MFDS from Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Since then she has worked in both Hospitals and NHS and Private practices in Liverpool and Manchester. She has been trained in advanced cosmetic treatments including cosmetic teeth straightening, Invisalign, Clear Correct and facial aesthetics. Dr Java joined this practice in 2015; she is an invaluable part of our dental team. She has a very pleasant and charming personality to put her colleagues and patients at ease. Her main goal is to provide her patients with healthy teeth and beautiful smiles through a pleasant dental journey.

Victor born and raised in Manchester, qualified as Bachelor of DentalSurgery in Barcelona at the International University of Catalunya in 2019. After graduating, he started his professional career with {my]dentist. He works with both private and NHS and is currently doing a Masters in Implantology located in Barcelona.He has attended numerous dental conferences and workshops as his goal is continuous personal development in order to provide the best treatment options for his patients.Victor pays great attention to detail and always puts patients’ interest first.
