Meet Jenni Cherington, Associate Dentist who qualified from the University of Dundee in 2009.
Jenni joined the practice in 2016 and brought with her a wealth of experience in both general dentistry and advanced facial and clinical aesthetic treatments. Jenni is passionate about Invisalign aligner therapy and helping patients achieve beautifully straight smiles with a comfortable discreet option. Her eye for detail and commitment to natural results also shines through in her work within facial aesthetics. She has a special interest in non-surgical facial rejuvenation, offering a wide range of treatments including: Dermal fillers, treatment of fine lines and wrinkles, Jawline slimming / reduction, Hyperhydrosis treatment to reduce excess sweating, Polynucleotide therapy to improve skin texture, elasticity and hydration, Microneedling to stimulate collagen production and mild skin peels for brighter, healthier skin.

Meet Mark Macleod, Associate Dentist who qualified from the University of Glasgow in 1997.
Mark has been with the practice since 2001 and with over two decades of experience, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge & expertise to our team, and has built a reputation for delivering high-quality patient focused care.
Mark has a particular interest in orthodontic treatment using ClearCorrect aligners, helping patients achieve straighter smiles with a discreet and comfortable solution.
In addition to general and cosmetic dentistry, Mark also has a special interest in anti-snoring devices. These clinically proven appliances by Sleep Well are designed to reduce snoring, improve sleep quality and are effective in managing mild to moderate sleep apnea, making a real notable difference to our patient's health and wellbeing.
Known for his thoughtful and thorough approach, Mark is committed to helping patients improve their oral health and overall quality of life. In his spare time, Mark likes to keep active by golfing, swimming, gaming, walking his dog.

Meet Scott Cherington, Associate Dentist who qualified from the University of Dundee in 2007 and has been a valued member of the team since 2016. Scott has a strong passion for cosmetic and restorative dentistry with a special interest in ClearCorrect aligner treatment - a discreet and effective way to straighten your teeth. Scott also enjoys creating smile makeovers by combining a range of treatments tailored to each patient's needs to transform their smiles with natural looking, confident results.
Scott is known for his approachable nature and attention to detail, always aiming to make patient's feel comfortable as he particularly enjoys making trips to the dentist as stress free as possible for his patients and getting them involved in their treatment journey from start to finish. Outside of work Scott likes to spend his time with family and friends. He also enjoys listening to and playing music he has an interest in building PCs and gaming.

Scott Dorrian graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2023 and joined us at mydentist in Carluke to complete his Foundation Training where he has subsequently decided to stay on at the practice with us. Scott enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is confident in providing NHS and Private treatments to his patients. Within dentistry , Scott has a keen interest in Dental Photography, Root Canal Treatment and indirect restorations such as Crowns, Bridges and Onlays. Outside of work, Scott has a keen interest in film photography, running, travelling, catching up with is friends and spending time with his dog, Chico.

Angela Livingstone Hygienist

Meet Angela Livingstone, Dental Hygienist.
Angela qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 2003 from Edinburgh where she won the prize for best clinician of the year and has been with the practice since October 2012. Since then, Angela has been looking after our patient's oral hygiene needs.
Angela is a highly skilled hygienist who provides private hygiene appointments with a keen focus on prevention and care of gum disease who can provide treatment under local anesthetic when required ensuring patient comfort during plaque and tartar removal. Angela has a very informative approach, teaching our patients how to best care for their mouths at home by providing personalised advice on brushing, flossing, and diet to her patients of all ages whilst maintaining a calm and relaxed atmosphere during her appointments. Angela also provides stain removal with Air Flow to remove surface stains and plaque bio film to leave your mouth feeling fresh and clean. Outside of work, Angela enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandson and walking her dog.
