Daniel Watson Endodontist Qualified from: BDS University of Manchester 2018 GDC No: 277660

After serving 14 years in the British Army, Dr Daniel Watson qualified as a dentist from Manchester Dental School in 2018. As of 2019, he has been working in private practice, providing patient-focused dental treatment. Daniel discovered a passion for saving teeth during his undergraduate training and developed a particular interest in root canal treatment - so much so that he was awarded the Pitt Ford Endodontic Prize upon graduation. Since then, he has completed extensive postgraduate training in endodontics, including a Diploma through the renowned EndoArt Education. His background in the army has instilled in him a meticulous and disciplined approach to patient care, which lends itself exceptionally well to complex root canal procedures. Daniel takes pride in delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment with a calm and compassionate manner. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son and dog. Daniel is also a keen advocate of fitness, CrossFit and outdoor adventures.

Basim Dawoud Oral Surgeon Qualified from: BDS University of Manchester 2013 GDC No: 244907

Mr Basim Dawoud FRCS (OMFS) MBChB BDS is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon on the General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centred care for a wide range of oral and maxillofacial conditions, helping patients feel informed and supported throughout their treatment journey. After graduating in Dentistry from the University of Manchester and Medicine from the University of Leeds, Mr Dawoud completed higher surgical training and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery FRCS (OMFS), MBChB, BDS. He remains actively involved in research, education and innovation, ensuring his patients benefit from the latest advances in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Mr Dawoud accepts referrals for wisdom tooth removal, routine and complex dental extractions, impacted teeth, jaw cysts, oral soft tissue lesions, facial skin lesions, TMJ disorders, and facial deformity, including complex deformity secondary to temporomandibular joint pathology. He also offers intravenous sedation for anxious patients and works closely with specialist orthodontists. He welcomes referrals from general dental practitioners, specialist orthodontists and other healthcare professionals.

Anjum Murtaza GDP Qualified from: Statutory Exam 2007 GDC No: 128043

Dr Anjum Murtaza BDS 2000, Statutory exam 2007. Dr Anjum Murtaza has recently completed PG Diploma Prosthodontics in 2022 which is a combination of PG Certificate Restorative Dentistry and PG Certificate in Operative Dentistry after a 2 year long training from the Tipton Training Academy, Manchester. She is a certified provider of short- term orthodontics with Invisalign. After completing her Statutory exams of the UK in 2007, she commenced her career with Vocational training through the Edinburgh scheme and gained a wealth of experience working in Scotland. In 2013, she completed a 1 year long PG Certificate course in Paediatric Dentistry from the University of Aberdeen, UK. Her experience and qualifications enable her to provide treatment in a calm, ethical and predictable manner. Charlotte Brown GDP Qualified from: MFDS Royal College of Surgeons Of England 2003 BChD University of Leeds 2000 GDC No: 77618

Dr Charlotte Brown BChD hons BSc hons MFDS RCS (Eng). Charlotte qualified with Honours from Leeds University in 2000. During her dental degree she also took a year out to study for a BSc in Physiology for which she gained 1st Class honours. Following a year in General Dental Practice she worked in several hospitals in Greater Manchester also in the Community Dental Service. During this time she gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of dentistry as well as the training of dental students. She was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2003. Since 2004 Charlotte has worked in General Dental Practice, providing NHS and Private treatment also in specialist orthodontic practice. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry especially cosmetic treatments, tooth whitening, composite fillings, veneers, crowns, bridges, dentures and short-term orthodontics. Charlotte is committed to giving patient care the highest priority and helping patients not only have their teeth transformed but overcome any fear of dentistry they may have. Evangelos Stogiannis GDP Qualified from: DipDS Thessaloniki 2010 GDC No: 210914

Evangelos graduated from Aristotle in 2010.During his 2 final years of studies he worked at a dental implantology practice where he gained a deeper knowledge of implants.After completing his studies he joined the forces for one year where he was appointed at the military hospital where he had the opportunity to develop his skills in different areas of dentistry. Evangelos moved to the UK in 2011 where he started working in NHS/mixed practices across Manchester.In 2014 he completed a course in Aesthetic dentistry at Eastman dental institute, in order to improve his skills in providing aesthetic dentistry. Evangelos is also a certified invisalign Go provider offering an alternative to conventional orthodontics.His main aim is to help his patients to get the smile they need to improve their confidence. Lindsay graduated from Liverpool Dental School in 2007, she has worked for {my}dentist for the past 12 years providing a wide range of NHS and Private treatments. She is highly experienced in all aspects of general dentistry. Her main interest is in Restorative Dentistry and her focus is to maximise a patients natural smile, using the minimum of dentistry. She always has her patients best interests at the forefront of her treatment plans. She particularly enjoys the challenge of treating children and anxious patients.In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, watching sport and seeing friends. Qinqin Chen GDP Qualified from: BDS Newcastle University 2015 GDC No: 265613

Dr Qinqin Chen graduated with BDS from Newcastle University in 2015. In 2021 she joined {my}dentist Reddish Road. Qinqins expertise is the correction of misaligned teeth in combination with teeth whitening and composite bonding. She likes to practice a minimally invasive approach in all her treatments where possible. She is passionate about preventing dental problems such as gum disease and tooth decay by promoting good oral hygiene and increasing awareness in prevention through education. Qinqin has an interest in facial aesthetics (anti-ageing treatments), delivering safe treatments in a natural way to enhance patients beauty and skin tone as well as being a certified ClearCorrect provider (clear aligner braces similar to Invisalign) and has been able to provide her patients various options who want to improve their dentition. The most important aspect of her patient-focused care is that patients are able to complete their treatments confidently and happily.Outside of work Qinqin likes to play the piano to relax.

Tiphanie Adam GDP Qualified from: BDS Newcastle University 2017 GDC No: 271394

Dr Tiphanie Adam qualified from Newcastle University in 2017, BDS Newcastle University 2017. She completed a dental core training year in 2019, she was working as a senior house officer at James Cook Hospital and in the community dental setting for many years. During this time she gained invaluable skills treating all patients and those with additional needs and extremely anxious patients, skills she now transfers whilst treating all her patients, but especially those who dread coming to visit the dentist. She has since cared for both NHS and private patients in Nottingham before moving back to the Stockport area in 2024 and joining the Mydentist Heaton Moor team. Tiphanie practices general dentistry, as well as enjoying making patients more confident with their smile using clear aligner braces and also cosmetic dentistry. Outside of the work place she enjoys being part of a cycling club, complete triathlons and cooking new foods.

Catherine Hunt Dental Hygienist Qualified from: BSc Oral Health Science University of Manchester 2003 GDC No: 6314

Dental Hygienist/Therapist Catherine started her working life as a dental nurse, obtaining the national qualification followed by the radiography and conscious sedation as post graduate qualifications. Catherine then furthered her career by qualifying in 2004 from Manchester Dental Hospital as a dental hygienist and therapist. Catherine specialises in periodontal treatment from routine cleaning to full mouth disinfection. She also has an interest in facial aesthetics which led her to complete a course in teeth whitening and a course on anti-aging treatments and fillers. Catherine enjoys promoting preventative dental care and provides talks and advice to various schools on oral hygiene, diet advice and healthy living. Catherine has two children that keep her busy when she is not at work and when given the opportunity she enjoys working out at the gym and socialising with her friends.

Krishan Varma Dentist With a Special Interest Qualified from: BDS University of Manchester 2007 GDC No: 113646

Dr Krishan Varma is an experienced implant dentist with a distinguished career focused on dental implant treatment. He qualified from the University of Manchester in 2007 and began providing implant treatments in 2010. To further deepen his expertise, he completed an MSc in Dental Implantology at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and has continued to expand his skills internationally at several world‑leading training centres, including the Kois Centre in Seattle, Harvard University in Boston and the Urban Bone Regeneration Institute in Hungary. Since 2016, Krishan has limited his practice exclusively to implant dentistry, working as a peripatetic clinician across multiple clinics nationwide. Over the course of his career, he has successfully placed and restored more than 4,000 implants, gaining extensive experience in a wide range of clinical situations. His scope of practice includes single‑tooth implants, full‑mouth rehabilitation, immediate implant placement and advanced bone and soft‑tissue regeneration procedures. In addition to his clinical work, Krishan is passionate about education and serves as a mentor to clinicians in training to place or restore implants, supporting their development and helping raise standards in implant dentistry.
