DR Basim Dawoud MBChB BDS MFDS (Ed), PGCert (Res), MRCS (Eng), FRCS (Eng) is a dual qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMFS). Graduating with Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Manchester with the Edgar Houghton and John Lowry prize for the highest performance in operative and oral surgery and subsequently a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Leeds, Dr Basim Dawoud has a strong academic and clinical foundation. A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (OMFS), he is also a keen academic, with over 30 peer-reviewed publications and multiple national and international presentations. Dr Basim Dawoud has held multiple senior OMFS training roles across major NHS trusts and has a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Research. He is happy to receive referrals from General Dental Practitioners or Orthodontists for oral surgery procedures and sedation.
