Edel graduated from Queen's University of Belfast with Honours in 2009. She was awarded the Marshall Swann prize for outstanding academic achievement. Edel completed her MJDF examination in 2015 to become a member of the joint Dental Faculty, Royal College of Surgeons, England. She prides herself in delivering pain free, plain speaking dentistry to her adult and child patients. Having worked for 10 years in her previous practice, she joined {my}dentist in 2019. Edel is an active member of the BDA NI Branch Council and also a Southern Trust representative on the NI Dental Practice Committee, of which she attends meetings on a regular basis. Edel continues her Professional development on a regular basis, having recently completed courses on Composite Bonding and Clear Correct Aligners.

Heather Beattie GDP

Heather graduated from Queens University of Belfast in 2004 with an Honours degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Heather received a Distinction Award for having obtained distinctions in all specialties of final examinations. Heather obtained many other awards during her studies at Queens, the Henry Schein K.M. prize, The W.H. Elwood Scholarship, Marshall Swan Medal, DR Eric Scher prize, Emma Calwell Prize, Ralph J Smith prize and GDC prize for professionalism just to name a few. In 2004, Heather gained a General Professional training post, work involved general practice at Keady Dental Surgery as well as Hospital and Community Dentistry for two years. She then went on to take up a permanent position at Keady Dental Surgery and has been a member of our team ever since. Over the years Heather has built up a good relationship with her patients. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and carries out treatments under the NHS and Privately. Heather continues to keep up to date with her continuing professional development. Outside of work Heather is kept busy with her three children and in her spare time enjoys climbing mountains.

Kieran Doyle GDP

Kieran graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2010 with an Honours degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Kieran spent the past 13 years practicing dentistry in Bournemouth before returning to his roots where he joined our Keady team in 2023. With this Kieran brings plenty of knowledge and experience to the team. Kieran provides high quality NHS and private dentistry with a keen interest in restorative dentistry. Kieran is continually updating his professional development and skills having recently completed Tipton training. Outside of work Kieran is kept busy with his three young children. In his spare time Kieran has a passion for football with his local club being part of the committee and likes to get the odd round of golf in.

Jill graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2007 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and received the LM award for student of the year. Jill is extremely passionate about improving oral health of patients and firmly believes prevention is key. Jill works closely with our team of dentists to ensure our patients receive the best treatment possible. Jill's aim is to educate and equip patients with the knowledge and understanding to maintain their perfect smile and oral health. Jill stays up to date with the latest research in preventative oral healthcare and continuing professional development. Outside of work, Jill enjoys spending time with her young family, socialising with friends and baking.

Laura joined our team in 2011 and brings a wealth of experience to {my}dentist Portadown. Laura graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2008 and strives to ensure patients always feel comfortable and relaxed during their appointments. To her there is nothing more gratifying than educating her patients to achieve a healthy mouth. Laura is adept at treating many patients including those with implants, orthodontics, crown and bridge work. Laura prides herself in staying current with the latest research in preventative oral healthcare and continuing professional development. Laura also enjoys working with the local community and providing schools with oral health educational visits.In her free time she is kept busy with her 3 children and the occasional bit of running.

Louise Anderson Hygienist

Louise graduated as a Hygienist in 2011 from Dundee University with BSc Oral Health Sciences. Louise is very dedicated in building strong relationships with her patients while ensuring they feel comfortable and leave the chair feeling happy. Louise loves educating patients on their oral health, and provides ways so that each patient can achieve a healthier smile. Louise prides herself in staying current with the latest research in preventative oral healthcare and continuing professional development. Louise is a mum to three children, which keep her very busy! In her spare she loves to bake, go on gentle jogs and scenic countryside walks.
