Dr Marek Kopciuch is a graduate of the University of Wroclaw in 1988. He spent many years working in the Oral Surgery Department of the University of Wroclaw while simultaneously running a private practice before moving to the UK in 2006.
In 1995 on completion of specialty training he sat the National Qualifying Examination in Oral Surgery. He was a mentor, lead clinician and principal for many young dentists. On relocation to the UK an opportunity arose to join NHS Highland as a senior general practitioner and has further developed his professional experience taking part in numerous courses in oral surgery and conservative dentistry.
In 2013 he moved to Devon and finished training in Bioclear-warmed injected composite filling technique and short term orthodontics—Six Months Smile and Smilelign. He is passionate about all aspects of patient care and dentistry and is especially interested in creating excellent crowns, bridges and porcelain veneers, providing first-class private composite fillings and bondings such as Bioclear and tooth straightening.
He deals with all his patients very gently, paying great attention to and supporting each individual to make their journey as comfortable as possible.
In his spare time, Marek enjoys walking on Dartmoor, cooking and tennis.

I was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, I spent part of my childhood in Boston, Massachusetts, I qualified as a dentist in 1998, I then came to the UK, Sheffield to complete a Master's degree in Minor Oral Surgery and graduated in 2000.
I am married to a clinical dental technician and have two children, we moved to the Southwest from the Isle of Man due to the popular swimming schools as both children swim competitively.
I have always dreamed of being a dentist in a small community and enjoy getting to know my patients and putting them at ease.
I enjoy cosmetic tooth straightening and have completed the Clear Correct alignment course.
My free time consists of walking our dog Sky and enjoying the moors and cheering for my children at swimming Gala's!

Originally born in Somerset but I grew up in Seattle, Washington. I moved back to the UK in 2010 and trained to become a dental nurse in 2015. I realised that I wanted to further my career by becoming a Dental Therapist and I was accepted at Peninsula Dental School in Plymouth where I trained and graduated in 2022 obtaining a Bsc (Hons) Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy with Merit. My approach to dentistry is focusing on prevention and ensuring it is tailored to each individual patient. I have a special interest in furthering my aesthetic dentistry which I will be taking further courses to expand my knowledge and skillset over the coming year. In my free time I enjoy going to the gym and running. I plan to travel a lot more and spend more time in Seattle visiting my family and friends.

It was always my ambition to become a dentist. Having qualified from Newcastle University in 1977, I joined a practice in Warwickshire as a junior associate. When the practice owner offered me the chance to buy the practice some two years after, I jumped at the chance!
Since then, my passion for dentistry has continued to grow.
I have always sought to increase my knowledge and skills within the profession, always exceeding my legal obligations for professional learning and development.
Having developed the practice over 30 years, when it became time to consider retirement I was in two minds. The intention was always to move to the southwest, an area which offers so much, but the wish to keep working was always there.
I feel I have achieved the best work/life balance for me and my wife, Debby. We continue to work on three days a week, but enjoy the luxury of a four day weekend!
Our leisure time is certainly busy, we enjoy our boat in Brixham, I play the occasional round of golf, (badly!), and we love spending time with our grandchildren.
