Umar Rehman is an experienced orthodontic clinician with two decades of experience in orthodontics. After graduating in Dentistry from the University of Dundee, he spent a short period in general dental practice before moving into orthodontics, a field in which he has practised exclusively ever since. His postgraduate qualifications include an MSc in Primary Dental Care and Orthodontics with Distinction, during which he focused his research on contemporary ligature-free orthodontic systems. He has also achieved postgraduate membership of the Royal College of Surgeons. Umar provides both NHS and private orthodontic care in Bellshill, covering referrals from all local areas including Glasgow. In addition to a busy clinical role, he has extensive experience working with and supervising orthodontic therapists. He is particularly interested in developing efficient, high-quality orthodontic services and effective team-based approaches to patient care. His clinical practice encompasses a broad range of orthodontic treatment, including complex fixed appliance treatment, aligner therapy, early orthodontic intervention, and the management of impacted and ectopic teeth.
