    "I went to Northwich My Dentist after being referred to a specialist and a specialist he was. Dr Stefan made my root canal treatment (operation) seem like just a routine, relaxed procedure. Even though the procedure was advanced with having 4 roots instead of 3 and having interlocking roots as well, he was not phased by this and knew exactly what to do. After the op I have experienced no pain at all and my tooth feels like it is back to its best if not better. Also, his taste in music was perfect for the hour and a half I was chilling in the dentist chair. Thanks again. I was so lucky to be in the best of hands. He is a credit to the team"

    "I was initially seen by Alicia after a poor experience with a previous dentist and she was extremely helpful, very friendly in her approach and very thorough when communicating what the issues were and discussing my options for treatment. She referred me to Stefan for a root canal, he demonstrated a professional manner and put me at ease through the procedure. He was always willing to answer my questions, alleviate any concerns and fully explain the different steps of the process. Stefan called me the week after my root canal to check that I wasn't experiencing any pain or additional symptoms. Thank you Alicia and Stefan!"

    "I had a failed root canal done at the end of 2019 at another Dental Practice . Recently I went to see Stefan at My Dentist Northwich . Stefan Stefanescu was recommended to me by another dentist because he is able to carry out more complicated root canal procedures. Stefan explained the options available to me . I was nervous about having the procedure done again but he created a calm atmosphere and it did not hurt . I’m glad to say that I have not had to take any pain killers for that tooth since seeing Stefan ."

  • Dr.Ijaz Hussain Qualified from: MSC 2017, Stat Exam 2009, MFDS RCPS 2005, BDS Peshawar 1996 Pakistan, 1996 GDC No: 176065
    Ijaz studied dentistry at the University of Peshawar, Pakistan qualifying in 1996. After six years in general practice in Pakistan, he embarked on his UK journey to further his qualification in dentistry. He has taken Senior House Officer Post in various NHS hospital Trusts then in 2005, he completed MFDS, RCPS qualification from Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Glasgow. In 2009, Ijaz passed ORE examination conducted by GDC, and completed Dental Foundation Training in 2010. He has been working in general practice with a special interest in Endodontics, which has ultimately led him to complete a Masters degree in 2017 at University of Chester. Ijaz has the privilege of working in Manchester Dental Hospital as a Specialty Dentist in Endodontology department for three years. This has allowed him to gain invaluable experience in treating complex endodontic cases. He has been providing endodontic treatment on referral in general practice for the last 7 years and is often consulted by other colleagues on issues around Endodontics. Ijaz is an experienced clinician who regularly attends seminars, conferences and undertakes postgraduate courses on regular basis in order to keep abreast with latest development in the field of Endodontics and general dentistry.
  • Dr.Kamlesh Tolia Qualified from: BDS,DPDS United Kingdom, 1996 GDC No: 72170
    Kam studied dentistry at the University of Bombay where he qualified in 1983, and then repeated his studies in dentistry at Manchester University in 1996 after moving to the UK in 1993. Kam previously worked in a local hospital in India, and then several different private dental practices in the UK before starting work for {my}dentist, where he offers NHS treatment, and a wide range of private treatments including facial aesthetics, private dentures, teeth straightening, Invisalign, Clear Correct and teeth whitening. Kam is passionate about ensuring his patients receive the best possible care. When Kam is not working he enjoys reading, cooking, travelling and photography.
  • Dr.Krishan Varma (Varma Clinical Soultions Limited) (Dental Implant Surgeon) Qualified from: BDS Manc 2007 England, 2007 GDC No: 113646
    Dr Varma is an experienced implantologist who visits several clinics across the country to provide implant treatment. He qualified from Manchester University in 2007 and since then he has been dedicated to providing the highest standards of care to his patients. In 2009-2011 he completed three year-long training programmes in restorative and implant dentistry in Manchester with restorative specialist Dr Paul Tipton, and was also awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons. He then continued with a further degree in Dental Implantology at the University of Central Lancashire, leading to the award of Master of Science with Merit in 2014. He is an active member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), The International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD).
  • Dr.Meenakshi Java Qualified from: BDS,Stat Exam India, 1996 GDC No: 152894
    Dr Meenakshi Java obtained her dental degree in India in 1997. After working some years in India, teaching students in Dental School and working in a private practice, she moved to the UK in 2004. She passed the GDC statutory exams in London and obtained MFDS from Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Since then she has worked in both Hospitals and NHS and Private practices in Liverpool and Manchester. She has been trained in advanced cosmetic treatments including cosmetic teeth straightening, Invisalign, Clear Correct and facial aesthetics. Dr Java joined this practice in 2015; she is an invaluable part of our dental team. She has a very pleasant and charming personality to put her colleagues and patients at ease. Her main goal is to provide her patients with healthy teeth and beautiful smiles through a pleasant dental journey.
  • Dr.Muataz Osman Qualified from: BDS University of Benghazi 2008 Libya, 2009 GDC No: 300412
    Muataz graduated from the University of Benghazi in 2008. He worked as a GDP with special interests in periodontics and implant dentistry for 6 years in private practices. During that time he was a clinical and academic tutor in the restorative department at LIMU (2010-2012). Between 2012-2014 he was a TA in the oral biology department at the University of Benghazi, from which he was granted a scholarship to get his PG education. Dr Osman obtained his clinical Masters in Periodontics from the University of Manchester with distinction (2015-2018) – this grade qualified him for a place in a Clinical PhD studies, which he finished with an A2 grade in 2022. Dr Osman is now an honorary clinical tutor in the PG Periodontology program at the University of Manchester. Muataz works as DWSI in Periodontics and Implants in different practices in England and Scotland. Outside dentistry, being a Mediterranean he enjoys windsurfing and all kinds of watersports as well as spending quality time with family and friends.
  • Dr.Victor Roig Qualified from: Grado en Odontologia Universitat Internacional De Catalunya (UIC) 2019 Barcelona, 2019 GDC No: 286672
    Victor born and raised in Manchester, qualified as Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Barcelona at the International University of Catalunya in 2019. After graduating, he started his professional career with {my]dentist. He works with both private and NHS and is currently doing a Masters in Implantology located in Barcelona. He has attended numerous dental conferences and workshops as his goal is continuous personal development in order to provide the best treatment options for his patients. Victor pays great attention to detail and always puts patients’ interest first. He strongly believes that prevention is the best treatment. The best part of being a dentist for Victor is the impact his work can have on someone’s wellbeing and also the importance on building a clinical professional relationship with his patients. His calm and laid back attitude tends to rub off on his patients too! His main hobbies are football, tennis and travelling

What are dental implants?
Dental implants are a fixed solution for missing teeth that are the closest possible replacement for natural teeth. They involve one or more titanium screws being inserted into your jawbone to mimic a natural tooth root. Dental crowns are securely attached to these to fill the gaps in your mouth. Because dental implants are securely anchored in your jaw you’ll have the confidence to comfortably eat whatever you like.

  • Consultation Your initial consultation will be with either our Implant Surgeon or Treatment Coordinator (TCO), who can discuss the different types of implants, single or multiple depending on your need. Following this there may be a need for a more clinical focused consultation.

  • Diagnostic Scans We will carry out a number of digital scans, to build a digital 3D model of your mouth so we can get a clear picture of the area we will place the implant, and a more detailed X-ray using a Cone Beam Computer Tomography scanner so that our Implant surgeon can assess the state of the bone below the gum to get a really clear picture of your treatment need.

  • Treatment Plan Once our experienced implant surgeon has assessed all of you scans they will explain the nature of your treatment, the stages involved and costs. We offer flexible payment options to make implants even more affordable.

  • Commence Treatment Once you are happy we will begin treatment. The length and numbers of appointments will vary depending on the complexity of your particular need, but your Implant Surgeon will have detailed all of this in your treatment plan.

  • Implant Placed Once the implant(s) are placed it may be necessary it might be necessary to allow time for healing before attaching the replacement teeth. Once we are happy the implant has healed we will arrange a series of appointments to fabricate the replacement teeth.

  • Aftercare Your Implant Surgeon will advise you about looking after your implant and may well give you some painkillers to help with the pain over the days after your surgery as well as detailed advice about cleaning the implants and the teeth attached to them.
