Dr Bogdan Burghelea is a general dentist with a special interest in dental implant treatment. He started his journey in dentistry when he qualified as a dentist in 2002 at University of Constanta, Romania. In 2009 he joined mydentist to provide oral health care to the Teesside area. Over the years, Bogdan wanted to provide more restorative solutions for his patients and decided to pursue an interest in implant dentistry, ideal for patients with gaps and missing teeth or as a fixture solution to replace dentures. He has completed a PG Certificate in Implants in 2019, a Masterclass of Advanced Bone Grafting in 2020 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Implant Dentistry in 2023. He has extensive experience in complex implant treatment planning, execution and accepts implant referrals.

Alla Mallows is a highly experienced Dental Hygienist and Therapist with more than 30 years of experience in the dental profession. She first qualified in Russia as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist in 1993 before further advancing her education and qualifying as a dentist in 2003, giving her a broad and comprehensive understanding of patient care. Since beginning practice in the UK in 2020, Alla has worked across a variety of NHS and private dental settings, building on her extensive international experience. Prior to relocating to the North East, she worked in practices throughout Manchester, treating patients with a wide range of dental needs and backgrounds. Alla has a particular interest in caring for nervous patients, individuals with additional needs, and patients with dental implants. Her calm, compassionate, and patient-centred approach helps put patients at ease and ensures a positive treatment experience. She provides a range of treatments including professional cleaning, fillings, children's extractions, oral health education, and preventive care, helping patients of all ages achieve and maintain healthy smiles.
