"Elrefai graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Oral and Dental Medicine from Mansoura University in Egypt, and later passed the UK Overseas Registration Exam. With a strong background in both NHS and private dentistry, he brings a wealth of clinical experience to the team.
Before moving to the UK, Elrefai worked in general practice and managed a maxillofacial radiology centre, where he was involved in digital planning, quality control, and staff training. Since arriving in the UK, he has also worked as a Clinical and Radiographic Auditor, further enhancing his knowledge of compliance and patient safety.
Elrefai is passionate about delivering high-quality, ethical dental care. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, digital dentistry and root canal treatment. He is committed to continuous learning to provide the best care for his patients.
Outside of dentistry his hobbies are swimming, cycling and carving.

Sandu gratuated in Iasi, Romania, where he worked before moving to the UK. He began working for (my)dentist in South Shields and moved to Scarborough in 2013 and then joined the Filey practice in 2018. Sandu qualified as a mentor in 2017 and was proactive in assisting with a colleagues' move to Filey. Sandu will always do his best to provide the highest quality of treatments for his patients, making him love his role as a dentist even more when he sees his patients happy with their result. Sandu enjoys spending time with his family, travelling and discovering and learning about new cultures.

Taisiya studied at MU Plovdiv in Bulgaria and worked in hospital settings after her graduation in 2004. Taisiya joined (my)dentist Scarborough North Marine Road in 2017 as an Associate dentist and quickly settled in with the team. Taisiya delivers all general dental treatments stress free in a safe and comfortable patient environment, believing that prevention is better than cure. Taisiya always strives to create a positive dental experience for adults and children alike. During her spare time Taisiya likes to read and spend time with her family. Taisiya has also recently learnt to drive and this has given her the opportunity to explore our lovely countryside.
