Born in Yelverton, daughter of Plymouth and Yelverton dentist Barry Mann and was educated at Tavyside and Tavistock College.On returning from 2 years working in Zimbabwe Itrained as a Dental Hygienist with the Army.Then took a BA Hons in English and Fine Art and a PGCE (English) at London University.I taught English in Watford but left after two years to run a Dental Practice in Rickmansworth Herts.Since then, I have worked in Harley St. with Lionel Wainstein, Cavendish Square with Prof. Eddy Levinson and Neville Bass in Queen Ann St. London among others.After having two daughters, I worked in Clifton, Bristol before moving back down to Devon in 2006. I have been with Tavistock Dental Centre since 2009.I am an author and illustrator of children’s books and play cello and sing in a band.

With over a decade of clinical experience, Vishaal is a highly accomplished and experienced dentist. After graduating as a dentist in 2011, he then achieved his Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Oral Surgery with distinction from London’s prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in 2017. He enjoys all areas of general dentistry but due to his three-year oral surgery training at the Eastman Dental Institute he has a particular interest in oral surgery. He has since earned multiple board certifications, including Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, Membership in Oral Surgery (MOS) from the Royal College of Surgeons England, and is a Fellow of the faculty of Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (FFD OSOM). With his Dedication to lifelong learning and commitment to excellence, he provides exceptional dental care to his patients and ensures they receive the most advanced dental care. He enjoys spending his free time with his family and traveling to new countries.

Carolyn graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1999.She has worked in general practice since then. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She is especially keen to help young and nervous patients access routine dental care. She has offered anterior alignment orthodontics (teeth straightening) to her patients for over 10 years, and currently offers the Clear Correct system to straighten your teeth. This can be combined with whitening and bonding to give you the smile you have always dreamed of. Carolyn has completed a PGCert in Facilitating Learning in Healthcare at the University of Central Lancashire in 2024 and is now an Educational Supervisor for Health Education England (NE) supervising newly qualified dentists.Outside of work she enjoys curling, and walking.
