In 2005 Anna graduated from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. Anna then moved to Edinburgh, Scotland in 2011 where she started working with {my}dentist, Pennywell. There are great many fields of dentistry such as Aesthetics, Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics and Paediatric Dentistry that all fall within Anna’s scope of interest. She is keen and passionate about her work and eager to expand her knowledge and skills. She is always booked on courses to keep up to date and ahead of times in the ever-changing world of dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys the opera, classical music, the arts and visiting Museums.

Marco De Carvalho GDP

Marco was born in Portugal in 1967, qualified as a dentist in 1990, in Bulgaria. After qualifying he moved to Greece where he worked as a private dentist for 2 years. In 1992 he moved back to Portugal and worked as a private dentist in Cascias, near Lisbon until 2011. In 2011 he received an offer to come to Scotland to work as a dentist committed to the NHS and he accepted this new life challenge with pleasure. Marco has a large amount of experience of helping patients of all ages since qualification. He cares for patients at {my}dentist, Pennywell full time. Marco is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and is very happy to provide care for patients who have this as their first language. Outside work, Marco is very family oriented, loves to spend all his free time spending quality time with family and loves to cook, trying new recipes from around the world.

I have over 10 Years of Experience as GDP and I am currently working in 2 different Practices with [my}Dentist.My current practice includes general dentistry with special interest in dento alveolar surgery and also undertake elderly patients with complex dentures and believe in minimalistic preventative approach for child patients.Before I joined General Practice in 2010, I was fortunate enough to have received advanced training in various Specialist Hospitals.I qualified and completed my BDS from beautiful part of South of India in 1996-97. I did my Overseas Registration exams and have worked as Senior House Officer in Various Hospitals in Aberdeen, Carlisle, Bradford, Birmingham, Dundee, Glasgow Yorkhill Hospital. I was actively involved in Research in Leeds Teaching Hospital. I regularly take part in all my CPD and Audit activities.My personal interest is, maintaining a healthy work and personal life balance, this is really important to me. I enjoy meeting people and often organize events with friends and family. I do Yoga and meditation. My Other interests include singing classical music, painting, reading and traveling.
