Andre qualified as a general dentist in Portugal in 2001. He worked in general dentistry in Portugal since qualifying till 2004 and then in Spain for 1 year. In 2005 he came to England where he has been doing general dentistry and orthodontics since. He has done numerous post-graduate dental courses as he is always aiming to improve his skills. He likes giving the patients the best possible experience - a quality work in a caring environment. He really enjoys making dentures and seeing how happy and confident the patients are with them. Andre started working for Bedhampton {my}dentist in July 2021. He does {my}options at the practice. His favourites hobbies are: acting, watching movies and reading.

Dr Hakeem qualified from St Bartholomew's And The Royal London School Of Medicine And Dentistry in 1997. Since then she has worked in both independent and corporate general practices as well as teaching dental students at the University of Manchester. Dr Hakeem enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a special interest in facials aesthetics ( involving the use of anti wrinkle treatments and fillers). She also offers teeth whitening and teeth straightening with the use of a clear aligner system. Dr Hakeem being a British Kashmiri, is also multilingual and fluent in her mother tongue of Kashmiri aswell as having a grasp of Urdu.

"Pui Yee, also known as Jo Ann to her friends and family graduated from University of Sheffield in 2016. Upon completing her first job in Portsmouth, Jo Ann found herself working in Singapore for 3 years before returning to the UK. These work experiences allow her to grow in various fields within dentistry. Jo Ann finds it most enjoyable to put a beautiful smile on a patient’s face through adult orthodontics and aesthetic dentistry. A keen learner, Jo Ann enjoys attending dental courses to update her clinical skills.
Growing up in Malaysia, Jo Ann is fortunate to be able to learn to speak fluently in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay. Jo Ann believes communication is an important aspect of a dental visit and always endeavours to put her patient at ease.
Outside of work, Jo Ann enjoys practising yoga and spending time with her family. Jo Ann is mostly committed to practising yoga in Ashtanga style at present and feels that it is her ‘dharma’ to share her love for the practice. This has led her to complete a 200-hour yoga teacher training in London.

Maria qualified as a Dental Therapist/Hygienist from Portsmouth University in 2007. She joined {my}dentist in 2009 and thoroughly enjoys working for the company, alongside a fabulous dental team.Maria thrives on educating patients on the importance of good oral health and believe it is essential to build a friendly rapport with our patients, in order to achieve this. Her communication skills are one of her strongest attributes and she enjoys utilizing this. She ensures all patients are not just well informed regarding all aspects of their treatment, but to put at ease, so as to have a comfortable dental experience Outside of work, Maria enjoys spending time with her partner John, daughter Ava and son Johnny. She also likes going for walks and partial to a bit and retail therapy!
