    Dr Carl Horton is a distinguished dental surgeon focused on dental implants and full mouth rehabilitation. A graduate with Clinical Distinction from Birmingham University, Dr. Horton began his career as a Senior House Officer and gained experience in mixed practice while also lecturing undergraduates. He has attained master's degrees in Clinical Periodontology and Implantology. In 2016, Dr Horton co-founded Horton Implants with Kate Bootman. Their primary focus emphasizes rehabilitation of patients and full arch dental implant surgeries, alongside educational initiatives aimed at developing dental teams. As a co-director of the VSS Academy and an honorary lecturer at UCLAN, he mentors and lectures across the UK. Dr Horton is renowned for his pioneering research and jargon-free communication style. He has lectured globally in cities like San Francisco, Gothenburg, and Athens. His clinical interests include periodontology, aesthetic dental treatments, and advanced surgical techniques such as guided tissue regeneration and grafting.

    Adnan is an enthusiastic dentist; providing the highest standard of care for his patients is at the forefront of his passion for the profession. Adnan qualified in Germany in 2019, where he continued to work in general practice before moving back to the UK in 2021. Adnan has continued to learn and upskill since qualifying, attending a number of courses in both Germany and the UK in order to be in a position to provide his patients dentistry of a high quality using modern techniques. He has experience in treating full mouth rehabilitation cases, provides clear braces using the Straumann ClearCorrect aligner system, as well as being competent in providing ‘everyday dentistry’ such as crowns, dentures, veneers and endodontics. Adnan has a straightforward and calming approach to treating his patients, conveying information in a clear and concise manner and ensuring that all patient needs are met to the highest standard. Adnan also accepts referrals from nearby practices for complex extractions.

    Dr Joe Dowie qualified from the prestigious Kings College London in Dentistry achieving multiple awards including The Maurice Wahl award for highest standard of dentistry & The Academy of Operative Dentistry Award for excellence in operative skill. He has a keen interest in periodontology and provides hygiene and periodontal treatment at our Newtown Advanced Oral Health Centre, helping to provide our patients with a bright white smile to be proud of and helping to stabilise and undo gum disease.One of the first things you notice when you meet Dr Joe is just how much he genuinely cares and puts your individual needs first, a keen listener who wants to help you achieve your perfect smile.

    Katie graduated from Edinburgh University in 1983 and has worked in a wide variety of settings before settling in Mid Wales 2003. There she cared for adults privately and children on the NHS. She has a broad experience of general practice with interests in prevention and gum health. As a reluctant patient she has empathy with nervous patients and will spend time with them. She believes in a whole mouth whole person approach, educating patients to help themselves alongside appropriate treatment. Living in Mid Wales Katie , keeps a large eco-friendly garden with bees, open for NGS. Keen on wild swimming and walking but also a wide range of needle crafts, wool crafts, repair cafes and the like.
