Dr Tanaka Kadiyo is a private dentist and welcomes all patients, including those that are anxious. He is committed to providing them with a compassionate, high quality level of care, and looks forward to supporting patients in achieving healthier, more confident smiles.
He graduated with distinction from Barts and the London in 2022, where he received multiple national awards and scholarships recognising both his academic and clinical excellence. Of the most notable, he was presented with the UK Undergraduate Dental Award by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow (RCSPG), and the Highly Commended Dental Student of the Year Award by the 'Faculty of General Dental Practice' (FGDP). Tanaka was also presented with the regional Highly Commended 'Young Dentist of the Year' Award in the North East for 2024 of which he is very proud of.
Tanaka has a particular interest in providing long lasting solutions and he is currently undertaking a Master's degree in Restorative Dentistry at the University College London (UCL). His clinical focus involves full mouth care including aligning teeth with Invisalign, and the use of dentures, veneers, crowns and bridges in the management of worn down broken or missing teeth, and undertakes composite bonding for patients wanting a more aesthetic look.

Dr Anu Ontivillu Gopidoss welcomes all patients, including those that are anxious. She is committed to providing them with high quality care, and looks forward to supporting patients in achieving healthier, more confident smiles.
After qualifying from the Dr M.G.R Medical University in India in 2016, Anu joined our practice in May 2023, working as a dental therapist while finishing her Statutory Registration exam. Anu completed this in July 2023 and worked as a private dentist while awaiting her registration number with the General Dental Council. Since joining our team, Anu has been a valued member of the team, and provides both NHS and Private treatments options, including fillings, extractions, crown and bridges, dentures and teeth whitening. Anu has a special interest in clear aligners and composite bonding a has completed a ClearCorrect teeth straightening course.
Anu has a very gentle and caring empathic nature, with a strong belief in providing excellent quality dentistry for both adults and children. Taking time to explain the process when completing treatments, thus ensuring the patient feels at ease, which reflects with her excellent feedback from her patients.

James Saunders GDP

James Saunders BDS graduated from the Charles Clifford Dental School, Sheffield University in January 1994. He has worked within the NHS since graduating in the Barnsley and Sheffield areas, offering the full range of NHS treatments, including crown and bridge fixed prosthesis and root canal therapy. He is also happy to discuss private options and offers private crowns and bridges, white composite fillings in posterior teeth and private dentures with Denture Excellence. James has volunteered overseas for several different NGO's, treating children in rural Romania with 'Young Smiles for Romania', providing simple treatments such as extractions and temporary fillings in Delhi's slums and in the Himalayan foothills of Nepal.

Nabeela Bhatti GDP

After qualifying with her Bachelors of Dental Surgery from The University of Sheffield in 2006, Nabeela completed her Vocational Training year in Sheffield. She then joined us in Thurnscoe in 2007 and has been a valued part of the team ever since. She provides both NHS and private treatment options including fillings, extractions, crowns, bridges, dentures and teeth whitening. Apart from general practice Nabeela also works part-time as an Honorary Clinical Teacher in Restorative Dentistry at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield. Teaching undergraduate dental students alongside regular professional training enables her to stay up to date about the latest developments in dentistry for the benefit of both patients and future dentists. She has also been involved in mentoring overseas dentists to enable them to work in the UK and training new dental nurses. Nabeela has a caring, empathic nature with a strong belief in providing good quality dentistry for adults and children alike. She aims to make every patient feel as comfortable and as at ease as possible.

Shaun Chaudhary GDP

Shaun graduated from Manchester obtaining a BDS degree in 1993 and completed his vocational training year in Chesterfield 1994. Since qualifying Shaun has been working in general practice in the Yorkshire region, and owed his own practice in Doncaster, where he had a regular patient base, and joined the {my}dentist team in Thurnscoe in November 2018. Shaun has a wealth of knowledge and in general NHS dentistry, Shaun also offers private dentistry including crowns, bridges, dentures and teeth whitening. Shaun likes to make his patients feel as much at ease as possible when they visit, ensuring they feel confident to return.
