Dr. Radu Gross earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Iuliu Ha?ieganu Medical University in Romania in 2009. He joined {my}dentist in 2011 and has since gained extensive experience in both NHS and private dental care.In 2012, Radu expanded his expertise by obtaining a Certificate in Oral Implantology from Salford University. Committed to lifelong learning, he actively participates in international theoretical and hands-on courses, specializing in Implantology, Periodontology, and Oral Surgery. His dedication to periodontal health led him to complete a three-year postgraduate program, earning a master’s degree in Periodontology from the University of Central Lancashire in 2020. Additionally, he obtained a Master of Science Periodontology degree in Preston in 2020 and completed a Master of Science degree from Bologna in 2024 and is yet to set furthering his professional development at GIDE in 2025. With a strong passion for Implantology, Periodontology, and full-mouth reconstructions, Radu also has a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry. He has attended numerous courses in facial aesthetics and is eager to continue honing his skills in this field.Outside of dentistry, Radu enjoys staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle while cherishing time with family and friends.

Amiya graduated in October 2024. Amiya Joined the team in Bargoed in June 2025 and has already made a fantastic professional bond with her work colleagues and her patients. Amiya enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is enjoying her first year working in general practice. Amiya is looking to expand her clinical skills over the next few years with an interest in composite bonding and whitening treatments, Amiya would also like to go onto offering clear aligners and Oral surgery at practice. Amiya wants to be able to progress her career in dentistry being able to provide as many treatment options as possible to her patients, so is looking forward to what the future brings for her working in dentistry. Outside of Amiya’s professional life, Amiya enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes for her family and friends to try, Amiya also enjoys playing badminton in her spare time. Amiya looks forward to continuing making great professional relationships with her patients at Bargoed and being able to support them in having the smile that gives them their confidence.

Dorrel has worked in dentistry for nearly two decades and treats patients in both the NHS and private sectors, and enjoys being able to deliver both options to patients.
Dorrel expertise encompasses comprehensive dental care for both adults and children, and provides a calm and stress-free environment for patients to be treated.
In addition to general dentistry, Dorrel is currently training to be an implantologist, where he will them be able to also offer implants to his patients.

With a distinguished career spanning over two decades.
Gisela's expertise encompasses comprehensive dental care for both adults and children, with a particular focus on creating a comfortable and anxiety-free environment for her patients.
Gisela has a keen interest in Restorative-Orthodontics. She offers treatments with Invisalign, Clear Correct aligners and traditional braces and has recently completed a PGCert in Orthodontics in London, further enhancing her skills in this specialised field. Leandro always has the patients best interest at heart and when a patient visits the practice he likes to see them leave with the smile that they have always wanted. Leandro enjoys attending training courses to enable him to give his patients their perfect smile. Outside of work Leandro enjoys watching football, going to the gym and meeting with friends.

Richard Joined the team at Bargoed in Febuary 2020, since joining the team he has built a great relationship with the staff and patients at the pracice. Rhichard enjoys all aspects of NHS dentistry and exceeding all expectations of patients with the service he provides. Richard also offers Private appointments outside of his working hours to ensure that everyone has access to the practice and treatments can be provided to patients not registered. Richard likes to make all his patients feel at ease when coming to practice, and does this by spending time chatting to patients. Richard has lots of hobbies outside of work including music, magic, skiing, scuba diving and cooking just to name a few.
