Abid Al-Tamimy graduated from Manchester University School of Dentistry with a BDS Honours degree in 2007. After some time, he moved on to Kings college in 2010 where he studied fixed and removal prosthodontics and qualified in 2014. He has been part of the team at {my}dentist since 2017 where he has developed a strong rapport with his patients, delivering personalised dental care to a high standard. He is a highly motivated member of the team with a strong desire to do the best for his patients. Abid is committed to preventing oral disease offering a preventive-based approach to all treatments, offering both NHS and Private options. His aim is to give patients the tools they need to help to maintain a healthy mouth. Abid has very quickly become a well-loved member of the team and is well known for his wonderful sense of humour!

Eva Sedlarova GDP

Eva qualified from the university of Olomouc in the Czech Republic in 2009. After graduation she started working in a state-of-the-art private practice where she gained a broad experience in providing high quality dental care. Eva moved to the UK in 2015 to live with her partner and joined {my}dentist practice at Harrison street in Barnoldswick. Besides providing a full range of dental services Eva developed a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry and smile design. In February 2018 she finished a year long post graduate course Aesthetic and Cosmetic dentistry at Tipton training in Manchester. Eva also provides adult orthodontics with Six Months Smiles & Clear Correct, achieving great results and also offers composite bonding, veneers and the very popular Enlighten whitening system. In her spare time, she loves walking and travelling.

Haroon Hussain GDP

Haroon graduated from Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria in 2022 with a DDM and has now relocated back to the UK to fulfil his dentistry career. Haroon is very passionate about dentistry and is keen to provide the best possible treatments, with the best interest of his patients in mind by implementing his personal ethos to take a calm, caring and compassionate approach to offer the most comfortable treatment. Whilst doing his studies Haroon has also travelled and worked in hospitals abroad to provide voluntary dental treatments to patients in need and found this very rewarding. His interests include cosmetic dentistry and he is now developing himself in further specialties by attending post graduate courses. In his spare time Haroon enjoys a variety of sports including cricket and golfing and being around his family.

Samya Ahmed Therapist

Samya Ahmed graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Dental Therapy in July 2025. Since qualifying, she has worked across several mydentist practices, including Blackburn, Haslingden, Barnoldswick and, most recently, Burnley. During this time, she has gained experience caring for patients with a wide range of oral health needs while continuing to build on her passion for patient care. Samya enjoys helping patients improve their oral health through regular hygiene appointments, periodontal treatments and tailored preventive advice provided during surgery time. She is committed to supporting patients in maintaining good oral health and values the opportunity to help them better understand their oral health needs. Creating a relaxed and welcoming environment is an important part of Samya's approach. She is passionate about ensuring every patient who walks through the door feels comfortable during their appointment and strives to make each visit a positive experience. Samya particularly enjoys seeing the confidence patients gain following treatment and the positive impact that improved oral health can have on their wellbeing. Her aim is to make every appointment as comfortable, positive and informative as possible, helping patients leave the practice with healthier, brighter smiles.
