Meg qualified from Liverpool Dental School in 2019. She completed her NHS Foundation Training in Bournemouth before undertaking Dental Core Training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. During this year, which coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic, she gained extensive experience in oral surgery, including biopsies and skin procedures.
She then completed DCT2 within the Swansea Bay University Health Board, working in community and special care dentistry. In this role, she treated patients with complex medical and social backgrounds, managed referrals for highly anxious patients, provided sedation for dental treatments, and carried out extractions under general anaesthetic.
Since completing her hospital training, Meg has worked in private practice with a strong focus on periodontology, adhesive dentistry, and high quality composite restorations, routinely completed under a rubber dam. She has been part of the mydentist team for the past two years and thoroughly enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including extractions, dentures, restorative care, and gum treatments.
Outside of dentistry, Meg is kept busy by her two young dachshunds and enjoys gardening, cooking, hiking, and spending time outdoors and at music events. She is also a qualified personal trainer, fitness coach, and Zumba instructor, with a real passion for health, fitness, and dancing.
