Gaetano Fundaro Implantologist

Gaetano Fundaro graduated as a Dental Surgeon from the Dental School of Palermo University in Italy in 2002 before beginning private practice in Alcamo. In 2003, he moved to Germany, where he undertook extensive oral surgery training while continuing his private practice. He later relocated to Somerset in 2004, joining both NHS and private dental practices while pursuing postgraduate training in Prosthodontics, the area of dentistry focused on restoring and replacing damaged or missing teeth. Gaetano has completed a Certificate in Implantology from the UCL Eastman Dental Institute and a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry from UCL. He has also attended numerous advanced training courses in the UK and internationally to further develop his clinical skills and knowledge. Gaetano currently practises in Bridgwater at the Advanced Oral Health Centre, Bridge House, and also works across several practices in Somerset, including our practice on South Lawn Terrace. He provides ClearCorrect® aligner treatment and offers a wide range of restorative and aesthetic treatment options tailored to each patient's needs. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys visiting family and friends in Italy and spending quality time with his partner and their three young children.

Dr Jessica Fernandez Cantillo graduate from the University Rey Juan Carlos of Madrid (Spain) in 2009, after working in private practice in Madrid, she moved to UK in 2010 and started working in NHS general dental Practice in the North of England. She then moved to Somerset and joined a practice in Bridgwater, after maternity leave she joined the team at Kilkenny Dental Practice in Taunton and Street Dental Practice. She provides all our patients with the highest standards of dental care offering a range of private treatments including teeth straightening with Invisalign and enlighten whitening. Being extremely good with nervous patients and children, Jessica is, without a doubt, an asset to the team.When Jessica is not treating patients she enjoys spending time with her 3 children and her partner.

Mrs MIHAELA GLAZOV joined the company in 2017 and since then she worked in our practices in Taunton and Chard.Mihaela graduated in 2003 from Bucharest University. She developed her surgical skills by completing postgraduate specialist training in Oral Surgery at the Bucharest University Hospital.She has gained valuable experience working in both primary and secondary hospital based specialist services including oral and maxillofacial surgery, paediatric dentistry and restorative dentistry.While she offers all aspects of general dental care, preventative dentistry is one of her priorities, therefore she has a committed interest in providing a friendly, stress-free dental environment for both adults and children alike.

She then moved to the United Kingdom, where she started practicing general dentistry in Taunton Somerset.With a calming and empathetic personality, she’s an excellent dentist particularly with children and anyone who is anxious about visiting the dentist.Rita continues to develop in other areas of Dentistry such as aesthetics and periodontal treatment to provide her patients with choice. In her spare time, she returns to Portugal to visit family and enjoys spending time exploring the UK with her new friends.

Sara Al-Aadhami qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Baghdad in 2010 and later completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics at the University of Plymouth in 2023. After graduating, she began her career as a general dentist in a specialised dental centre in Baghdad, where she developed a strong foundation in comprehensive patient care. Since moving to the UK in 2013, Sara has continued to expand her clinical knowledge through a range of postgraduate training courses. She joined mydentist in 2018 and has experience providing both NHS and private dental care, helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles in a supportive and welcoming environment. Known for her calm and friendly approach, Sara is committed to ensuring patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment journey. Sara now focuses primarily on private dentistry, with a particular interest in endodontics and root canal treatment. She also provides a range of cosmetic and restorative treatments, including ClearCorrect clear aligner therapy and composite bonding, helping patients improve both the health and appearance of their smiles through tailored treatment plans. Smriti has completed her MSc. In Endodontology from Chester University and has been accepting referrals for complicated root canal treatment for saving teeth which she does under microscope. She passionately believes in saving teeth and giving it more time which otherwise would have been extracted. Smriti also places implants and provides clear aligner (clearcorrect) for straightening teeth. Dr Smriti Verma was awarded Bachelor of Dental Surgery by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in the year 2003, Since then she has been engaged in private practice in India providing General dentistry. She has also worked in Yerla dental college and hospital (India) as dental surgeon in prosthodontic department where she honed her skills in crowns bridges and dentures. She passed her licence examination to practice in UK in 2019. Smriti is enthusiastic about all aspects of dentistry and believes in saving teeth. She promotes preventive approach to dental treatment. Smriti regularly attends different courses to expand her skills and refine her existing skills. She likes to keep herself up to date with new advances.. Smriti is currently preparing for her M.Endo (RCS Edinburgh) for 2025. She has also enrolled for Kois institute (Seattle, USA) 2025 for aesthetic dentistry.

Dr Stylianos Makris graduated in Thessaloniki in 2002.
He practiced in the military between 2003-2004 and then continued to practice in Thessaloniki until 2006.
He then came to the UK in 2006 and joined mydentist in Yeovil and then relocated to Kilkenny Dental Practice in Taunton in 2008.
Stylianos has a keen interest in all areas of dentistry; he takes pride in constantly broadening his knowledge to offer his patients the best treatments available. Stylianos offer a wide range of treatment under the NHS and privately.
He is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care, he has built strong relationships with his patients, he creates a calm comfortable atmosphere putting all of them at ease.

With this Julie excels in making her patients feel at ease and comfortable whilst promoting and maintaining oral hygiene for all of our patients, often making them want to smile again because Julie believes smiling is a big quality of life.In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her children and grand children and travelling the world.
