Dr Abubaker Abdallah qualified from the University of Khartoum in 2018 and brings a wealth of experience to mydentist. Before moving to the UK, he worked across both private practice and hospital settings, developing a broad range of clinical skills and gaining valuable experience treating patients with diverse dental needs. During his time at the Khartoum Dental Teaching Hospital, Dr Abdallah worked within the A&E and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) departments, where he treated complex cases and dental emergencies. These roles helped him build a strong foundation in patient care, clinical decision-making and surgical dentistry. Alongside his professional experience, Dr Abdallah is passionate about giving back to communities and has volunteered with international organisations and rural dental convoys, helping to provide essential dental care to underserved populations. After relocating to the UK in 2023 and completing his UK registration in early 2025, Dr Abdallah has continued to focus on delivering high-quality, evidence-based dentistry. He has a particular interest in oral surgery and restorative dentistry and is committed to helping patients feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their treatment journey. Known for his calm and caring approach, he strives to make every visit as relaxed and positive as possible.

Spyridon Siakoufis is a general dental practitioner with a special interest in periodontology.Spyridon qualified as a general dentist in 2002 from the University of Thessalonini.Spyridon started his career as a general dental practitioner straight from university and has been working as a general dentist in the UK since 2004, specifically working for {my}dentist. Spyridon practices across several practices in Somerset, mainly Taunton, Street and the new Advanced Oral Health Centre, Bridge House in Bridgwater.While practising general dentistry Spyridon developed his interest in periodontology. Due to this interest Spyridon decided to study Periodontology and graduated from UCLAN in 2013 with an MSC in clinical periodontology.In his spare time Spyridon enjoys the outdoors and his hobbies include distance running.

Julie qualified in 2001 with a CEB Certificate in Dental Hygiene and Dip Dent Therapy from the university of Wales. Julie works with us here, in Yeovil on a part time basis amongst other practices in the Somerset area of {my}dentist. Throughout her time as a hygienist, she has worked in general practice, both in the NHS and privately, giving her a wide range of clinical experience and patient understanding. With this Julie excels in making her patients feel at ease and comfortable whilst promoting and maintaining oral hygiene for all of our patients, often making them want to smile again because Julie believes smiling is a big quality of life.In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her children and grand children and travelling the world.

Ryan qualified from the University of Essex obtaining an oral health science degree.After qualifying, Ryan worked at private practices in Wimbledon, Essex and Lyme Regis before settling down in Somerset.Ryan has a wide range of experience, especially in dealing with dental phobic patients, he has a natural ability of calming the most frightened of patients. Ryan helps patients with their oral hygiene treatment plans & helps to educate the importance of maintaining good oral health.Ryan works across several practices within the Somerset area and has been based at our Bridgwater practice since 2015.Ryan has an infectious laugh, and enjoys to make his colleagues and patients laugh, In his spare time Ryan enjoys spending time with his family and socialising with his friends.
