Assem qualified as a General Dentist, after completing his degree at Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania. He has an interest in teeth straightening, he is always looking to grow and continue his professional development. He joined {my}dentist Padiham Road in November 2022 and is looking forward to a successful future treating patients here and taking care of their needs which is what he loves doing. He is a great new member of our well established team and is always willing to help and get involved with whatever is happening within practice. He likes to spend his time exploring local areas and the cities nearest to Burnley, also meeting friends for food and socialising.

He has also begun working towards a dental implant diploma, further expanding his expertise to provide a broader range of advanced treatments for his patients.
Outside of the clinic, Atif leads an active lifestyle, enjoying regular gym sessions and hiking in nature. This balance between professional development and personal well-being reflects his dedication to both his patients and his own health.

Dr Brzostek graduated in Poland 1998 and began her career with {my}dentist in 2005. She worked at our Oswaldwistle practice for 5 years before joining the team at Colne. Dr Brzostek has a calm and professional nature, making patients feel at ease whilst filling them with confidence during their appointments. She offers not only NHS treatments but also a range of private treatments including dentures, crowns, bridges and teeth whitening. Dr Brzostek has a long list of NHS patients but is also able to register patients through our affordable private scheme and {my}dentist plan. When not assisting with dental needs, Dr Brzostek enjoys, long walks, travelling, reading books and spending time with her family and pet cat.

Dr Andleeb Shah qualified with a Merit in Clinical Dentistry from Newcastle University in 2018 and joined the {my}dentist Colne Team in September 2023.Dr Shah offers both NHS and private treatment including the affordable private scheme {my}options and {my}dentist Plan. She covers a wide range of private treatment options including white fillings, crown/veneers, teeth whitening, flexible dentures, teeth straightening using Invisalign and ClearCorrect, composite bonding and ICON for white spots on teeth.Outside of work Andleeb enjoys keeping fit and is a keen traveler! She has recently returned from a year of travelling and working in Australia. She enjoys volunteering in her spare time and has carried out emergency dental work in Cambodia and the West Bank in the Occupied Palestinian territory.

Faisal graduated in 2018 in Varna, Bulgaria at the Medical University of Varna. Faisal then joined the [my}dentist team at Blackburn in 2019. He decided to expand his expertise by also joining our Colne practice in April 2022. Faisal provides high quality dentistry under NHS and our affordable private scheme. He offers a wide range of cosmetic treatments which includes Invisalign (teeth straightening clear braces), teeth whitening, private dentures, crowns, white fillings and many more. Faisal has a friendly open approach to his patients and is very flexible to suit his patient needs regarding appointment availability and offering optimal treatments. He likes to socialise with his friends, play competitive sports and keep active in his spare time.

Joanna graduated in 1997 in Poland and began her career there till 2005 at which time she joined the {my}dentist team in Barnoldswick. Joanna has worked at our small Barnoldswick practice throughout most of her time with the company and although left briefly after having her daughter she eventually returned to us. Joanna is a warm and caring clinician, we find Joanna’s calming nature and explanation of treatments has helped anxious dental phobic patients overcome their fear of dentistry.Joanna offers Denture Excellence and a range of other private treatments along with the NHS options.Joanna has a daughter whom she enjoys spending her free time with. She also enjoys skiing and travelling.

Kristina qualified in 2005 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Kristina joined {my}dentist in 2010 and began working at our Earby practice. Since then she has moved to our Colne practice from 2018. Kristina has a wide knowledge and experience of dentistry and not only provides general dentistry but also private treatments which include prosthetics, crowns and veneers. Kristina is very well liked by her patients and has good relationships within the practice team. Kristina has been a great witness and mentor when student nurses enrol on diploma courses. During her spare time, Kristina likes to spend time with her family and also travel back to her native country, Bulgaria

Reha Bhombal joined the team at mydentist Colne in February 2026 and is the newest member of the practice. Originally from India, Reha moved to the UK to continue her education and completed her dental degree at the University of Lancashire, qualifying as a dentist in 2025. Reha provides a range of NHS and private treatments, including fillings, crowns, dentures and teeth whitening, helping patients choose the treatment option that best meets their needs. She works closely with an experienced team of dentists, benefiting from their support and shared clinical knowledge to help ensure a smooth and positive experience for her patients. Known for her kind, compassionate and understanding nature, Reha takes the time to build strong relationships with her patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their treatment journey. Her caring approach and commitment to patient care have quickly made her a valued member of the team. Looking ahead, Reha is interested in continuing her professional development and has particular interests in endodontics and dental implants. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys going for long walks, reading and travelling back home whenever she has the opportunity.

Dr Kauser treats both NHS and Private patients with treatments that include Examinations, Teeth Whitening such as Zoom, Enlighten and Boutique. Private Dentures and Crowns are also treatments in which she provides to a vast majority of patients. Dr Kauser believes in the importance of oral health education and strives to make each visit a positive experience. Outside of work, Dr Kauser enjoys to stay active by running or attending the gym. She also likes to unwind with a good book and occasionally bakes cakes.

Shravan Darji Therapist

Shravan Darji graduated from the University of Manchester in 2020 as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist. Since qualifying, he has gained valuable experience working predominantly within NHS dental practices, developing a patient-centred approach and a passion for supporting people in maintaining good oral health. Shravan joined mydentist Colne in March 2023 and works across several mydentist practices, providing care to a wide range of patients. Alongside his work as a Dental Therapist, Shravan is currently studying to become a dentist in Romania. During breaks from his studies, he returns to the UK to continue caring for patients and further develop his clinical experience. Shravan accepts referrals from dentists within the practice and also sees existing and new patients for private hygiene appointments. He is committed to providing high-quality care and takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment. Known for his warm, friendly and approachable manner, Shravan works hard to create a positive experience for every patient, helping even the most nervous individuals feel at ease during their visit. Outside of dentistry, Shravan enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on walks and continuing his studies.
