Welcome to Richmond House Dental Practice Dentist located in Chichester


Our dental practices in England have now opened and are offering a limited range of dental treatments.

As soon as we have all of the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) in place to ensure your safety, we will offer our full range of dental treatments.

Prioritising patients in need

We are prioritising patients in need, including anyone who has suffered pain during lockdown. Please do not try to book a routine appointment, such as a check-up, just yet. We will advise you when you can.

Please don’t visit our practices for any reason unless you are asked to do so.

Speak to us if you need support

If you do suffer dental pain, or need advice from a dentist, please call us. We are available to offer you advice and support by phone.

About Richmond House Dental Practice

We are based in the heart of Chichester, a beautiful city in West Sussex, easy access to train stations and bus routes, we are situated on the high street. Pay as you go parking is available at the rear of the practice. We are in a Grade 2 listed building covering 3 floors, we have access to disabled entrance surgeries. We have 4 surgeries and a hygienist surgery. Long standing clinicians and patients. We offer facial aesthetics, NHS and private treatment, payment plan options. Six month smile treatment. We are highly regarded as a training practice for dentists wishing to join the NHS, our in house trainer has over 20 years experience as a dentist. Our hygienist has been with the practice for over 30 years.

Your clinicians

  • Dr.Jaina Patel (M) Qualified from: Dentist England, 2011 GDC No: 211258
    Jaina qualified in 2011 from the University of Birmingham, after which she completed vocational training (also in Birmingham) and one year as a senior house officer at Kings College London, undertaking Oral and Maxillofacial duties. After this Jaina worked as an associate dentist in several {my}dentist practices. She enjoys general and preventative dentistry and is also qualified in facial aesthetics which includes dermal fillers. Jaina enjoys the cosmetic aspect of dentistry. In her spare time she enjoys baking and cooking, keeping fit and travelling with her husband who is also a dentist.
  • Dr.Jane Louise Harris Qualified from: BDS Lond,United Kingdom, 1993 GDC No: 69826
    Jane qualified at UMDS (Guys Hospital)in 1993. She was fortunate enough to continue working there for 18 months as a House Surgeon in various posts, including Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Restorative Dentistry. She completed her Vocational Training in Wallington, Surrey in 1996. She moved to Sussex and started at Richmond House in 1997. At that stage the practice was joined with a practice in Midhurst where Jane worked too. She had a short career break between 2002 - 2004 when she took extended maternity leave. Jane has worked for the community dental service for 10 years carrying out school screening and domiciliary visits. Jane now works solely at Richmond House. Jane is married with 3 children and enjoys home cooking and has a passion for healthy foods. She also enjoys the great outdoors, especially hiking, cycling and skiing.
  • Dr.Toby Hancock Qualified from: BDS,MFDS RCS,MFGDP United Kingdom, 2000 GDC No: 78168
    Dr Hancock has been a full time general dentist within the NHS and privately for 17 years after spending his postgraduate year in the Maxillo-facial unit of Guy's hospital. During this time Toby took an interest in dental politics and currently represents West Sussex local dental committee as its chairman. Toby assists the emergency dental service previously as a clinical advisor and now as an emergency dentist. During his working week he supports an overseas registrant within our practice. Toby has completed the education and mentoring programme organised by HEKSS. Toby spends time managing a small sailing boat, playing golf, entertaining his growing family and being a 'petrolhead' through his passion for anything with an engine.
  • Ms.Alice Stubbs Qualified from: CEB Cert in Dent Hygiene United Kingdom, 1981 GDC No: 2314
    Alice qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1981 at the Royal Dental Hospital in London having previously trained and worked for 4 years as a Dental Nurse, both in general practice and the community dental service. Since then Alice has worked almost continuously for the past 35 years, apart from two short breaks after the births of her sons. Alice has worked at practices in Chichester, Fareham and Hayling Island and joined what is now {my}dentist Chichester in January 1982. She is passionate about preventative dentistry, her aim is to help patients to take control of their own oral hygiene in order to minimise further dental intervention. Alice is also keen to help nervous patients gain confidence when undergoing treatment whilst attending the dental practice. In her spare time Alice grows her own organic vegetables and enjoys walking.
