DENTAL CARE DURING COVID-19

Open as normal

Patient information

Our practices are open for NHS and private dental treatments and we are continuing to see patients in order of their need to see a dentist. Should you have a new dental problem please call us as we are speaking to patients on the phone first to offer help and advice, and book in appointments if the dentist needs to see you face-to-face. There are still fewer appointments available due to the protective measures in place, so we apologise if you need to wait to see a dentist. Please do not attend the practice in person unless we ask you to do so.

Protective measures in practice

Our first priority is always the wellbeing of our patients and colleagues. Please make sure to wear a face covering if attending an appointment at one of our dental practices, attend alone where possible, and arrive on time for your appointment. Do not attend if you or anyone you live with has any symptoms of Covid-19, has tested positive for Covid-19 or has been asked to self-isolate by NHS Track & Trace or your school.

Please make sure to read our safety information ahead of your next visit

"I always attend Mydentist at the Westoe Road Surgery and have done since it opened. I couldn't praise the dentists , dental nurses and reception staff enough. If you want to receive 5* dentalcare this is definitely the place to come. I'm disabled and in a wheelchair and cannot walk up or downstairs so the receptionist always makes sure that my appointment is booked in the ground floor surgery. There is nothing the staff cannot do to help to make your visit as pleasant as possible. My dentist Mr Thomas and his dental nurse are a fantastic team; they have a wonderful way of making you feel at ease and in complete control of your treatment. I really like how he explains what the problem is and how he can help to make it better! This is definitely 5* treatment from a 5* Dentistry Team. Thank you to each and everyone of the team. Mrs M L Skelly"

"I experienced a great welcome today at Westoe Road Dental Practice , I've been going there for a long time now! I was recommended to have some treatment and I was offered an appointment a few hours later and another one for next week on my day off work. The dentist and the hygienist explained everything fully and the assistants were friendly and helpful too. My relations and friends use this surgery and they seem happy with it."

I have always hated getting the yearly deep clean as it was not pleasant but this time I think because of my age I was given pain relief ??.
