Dr .Nicu Bogdan Burghelea

Bogdan is a local family man committed to the practice. On completion of his diploma in Dentistry in 2002 at University of Constanta, Romania, he has been working in the UK in general practice since 2007 and has been committed to {my}dentist since 2009. In June 2019 Bodgan completed a Baird Academy Implant Course at Leeds which was an evidence based and clinical course in Implant Dentistry. He believes that giving someone the confidence to face the world with a big smile can make a huge difference to their life, whatever their age. Bogdan encourages his patients to discuss their smile and what they would like to improve, if anything. By Bogdan taking the time to discuss each patient’s options, this ensures that every patient has a smile to be proud of. He takes pride in all aspects of his work, creating great smiles with aesthetic treatments like, crowns, bridges, veneers and implants.

Dr.Mohamad Hani Nouri Dalati

Hani is a Consultant Orthodontist and the Medical Director at Tajmeel Specialized Medical Center in Abu Dhabi (UAE). He is a visiting Specialist Orthodontist/ Implantologist to the UK mainly at {my}dentist and the London Dental Academy. Hani completed three Master’s degrees in Dentistry: Orthodontics (2001), Periodontology (1998) and Oral Implantology and Dental Surgery (2015). Hani uses all the most recent and innovative Orthodontic techniques to treat all types of malocclusions of varying severity. Hani is always available to assist his patients (of all ages) in planning to achieve their desired smile and to assist them in smiling confidently. He has a vast experience and a gentle and professional approach that makes him immensely popular among his patients and colleagues and he will guarantee to put any nervous patient at ease for any planned dental procedure. Hani is happily married and has two children. As a family, they enjoy travelling.

Skye first joined {my}dentist in 2016 as Student Dental Nurse, she soon realised her interest was in orthodontics so continued her develop to become an Orthodontic Nurse. Skye then was successful at interview in a {my}dentist Orthodontic Therapist programme and graduated in 2020 from Warwick University.
Skye is looking forward to continue to progress her career with {my}dentist, she is kept busy working in multiple practices across the North East as an orthodontic therapist, she supports orthodontists with NHS and private treatment, she really enjoys her role.
In Skye's spare time Skye likes to keep active, socialize with friends and travel to new places.

Miss.Alina Florina Briscan

Alina qualified from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Oradea in 2018. She then went on to gain her Masters Degree in Public Health Care Management at the same Faculty.
She has worked as a general dental practitioner in a private practice and has also spent time working as a Manager for HH Resources and Dental Education. Alina continuously seeks out training and professional development opportunities that allow her to remain aware and knowledgeable about new dental techniques and the latest technology being considered or used.
Alina moved to the UK in 2019 and started working as a general dental practitioner in North Yorkshire. Special interest in aesthetics, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. She considers the dental surgery her second home, doing what she loves.
Her mission is to provide comprehensive dental services to all patients in an environment that is safe, reassuringly pleasant and comfortable. She considers dentistry to be the perfect combination between a doctor, engineer and an artist and with these skills she strives to provide the best possible care for her patients, having their smile as the best feedback and reward for her work.

Miss.Lucy Elizabeth Turnbull

Graduating from Birmingham in 2016 with a BDS in Dentistry Lucy has since completed extensive training in facial aesthetics and is enjoying enhancing patient’s natural beauty.
Lucy returned to the North East after completing her university studies and joined the {my}dentist team in September 2018.
Lucy always delivers excellent standards of dental treatment, she prides herself on all aspects of her work and places importance on creating confident smiles, ensuring her patients feel comfortable and confident with her.
As a very active person Lucy thoroughly enjoys keeping fit and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, she is part of an athletics club that meets regularly. Lucy likes to keep busy in her free time by exploring what the world has to offer.

Mr.Andrew Peter Lowrie

Drew was born and raised in Hartlepool. Following graduation from Newcastle University, Drew completed four years as a Dental Officer in the British Army. He returned to his hometown and has enjoyed over 15 years within the Grange Road practice, where he was recently appointed as a workplace Clinical Mentor.
He works hard to secure and maintain the Oral Health of his patients and considers it an honour and a privilege to care for such a loyal family patient base, many of whom have been with the practice for over 40 years!
Drew lives in Durham with his wife and two young daughters.

Mr.Mircea-Mihai Neacsu

Mihai qualified in 2000 from the Carol Davila University, Bucharest. For eight years Mihai worked alongside his wife Cosmina in their private practice in Bucharest. For three years he also held a management position in Elias University Hospital Bucharest. Mihai gained his Masters degree in Public Health in Carol Davila University, Bucharest.
He moved to the UK in 2008 to work as a general dental practitioner for one of the biggest dental companies in the UK. He moved to Queensway Dental Clinic as an associate in 2009 where he developed an interest in conscious sedation.
Mihai joined Alpha Dental Studio Northallerton in 2012.
In 2017 he was appointed Educational Supervisor for newly qualified dentists for Yorkshire Deanery.
Mihai joined the Guisborough practice in September 2018 to work again alongside his wife.
He loves dentistry ‘a mixture of art and technology’ in his view and is completely devoted to help his patients feel at ease and relaxed during treatment. Mihai has developed an interest in endodontics, restorative dentistry and he is keen on constantly improving his skills. Alongside his clinical commitments, Mihai is currently studying towards a Masters in Endodontology at the University of Chester.

Mr.Raj Singh Badhan

Born and raised in sunny Bedford. I went on to complete a bachelors degree in chemistry before qualifying from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2014. Thoroughly enjoyed completing my foundation dentistry training in Capel St Mary and spent many happy years as a general dentist in Ipswich. Now very glad to be back in the North East with my family proudly serving the people of Hartlepool!
I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children. We really enjoy going for long walks appreciating the infamous coastlines (and weather!) of the North East. To say that I am a big fan of tennis is an understatement! I enjoy popping down to Wimbledon in the summer.

Mrs.Emma Louise Walker

Emma has lived in the North East since 2016 but was born and raised in Wallasey, near Liverpool. She started her career in dentistry as a dental nurse at the age of 17. She spent 15 years in this role and raised two children. In 2018, she enrolled on an online, nine-month Access Course to the Health Sciences, gaining 45 credits at distinction, which helped her gain entry into University to study Dental Hygiene and Therapy. In July 2022 she gained a first class honours degree and is having her dissertation published in 2023. Emma has plans to go onto complete a PhD in Dental Research in the next few years.
In her spare time, Emma loves to spend time with her family and enjoys horse riding, keeping fit and socialising with friends.
