Yamilé Bernal Gonzalez is a dedicated Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist who began her dental career in the UK after completing her dental vocational training in Cuba in 1999. She has over 25 years’ experience in both private practice and NHS settings, including work on Harley Street and within Community Dental Services, supporting patients with additional needs. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy from the University of Portsmouth and is certified by the Swiss Dental Academy in Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT). She has also completed a post-qualification in tooth whitening and is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene & Therapy (BSDHT). With a strong background in oral health education, Yamilé is passionate about preventing gum disease and helping patients achieve and maintain long-term oral health. She particularly enjoys caring for anxious patients, children, and those needing extra support and motivation to stabilise and maintain their periodontal health.
