Dr Swati Sharma is an experienced dentist who believes that excellent oral care starts with listening and understanding each patient’s individual needs. With a special interest in Periodontology, she is dedicated to providing personalised oral care with a calm, friendly and reassuring approach. Dr Sharma is particularly appreciated by nervous and anxious patients and takes the time to help them feel comfortable and at ease throughout their treatment. Dr Sharma graduated in Dentistry in 2005 and completed her Master’s Degree in Periodontology in India in 2010. She has worked as a Professor, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, and previously ran her own private dental practice in India. She has been working in the UK for the past two years and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Periodontology in the UK. Her clinical interests include preventing and treating gum disease, cosmetic gum contouring, periodontal surgery, bone regeneration, and dental implant maintenance. Dr Sharma has experience in procedures including frenectomy, crown lengthening and operculectomy. Dr Sharma is also certified in laser dentistry, with an interest in minimally invasive techniques that can help reduce bleeding and promote comfortable healing. Outside work, Dr Sharma enjoys cooking, travelling and spending time with her family.
