Shanuka Sivakumar completed her BDS at the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry, graduating in 2022. Since qualifying, she has gained valuable experience working within community dental projects and supporting charities that provide essential dental care for individuals experiencing homelessness. Shanuka is an enthusiastic and compassionate clinician who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. She is a certified provider of Invisalign Go and also offers minimally invasive treatment for MIH using the ICON technique. She has a strong interest in continuing professional development, particularly in paediatric dentistry and sedation, and is planning to undertake a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education to further develop her clinical and educational skills. Outside of dentistry, Shanuka enjoys music and baking. She has recently completed British Sign Language (BSL) Level 1 and is keen to progress to Level 2, reflecting her commitment to improving communication and accessibility for patients. Shanuka works at the practice on Mondays and Tuesday afternoons.
