Dr Ruairi Leonard qualified from Queen’s University Belfast in 2019 and is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centred dental care. With a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, he helps patients achieve natural-looking smile enhancements through minimally invasive treatments tailored to their individual goals. His clinical expertise includes clear aligners, cosmetic dentistry and sedation, ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed and confident throughout their treatment journey. Ruairi also provides bespoke facial aesthetic treatments, using an anatomy-led approach to facial rejuvenation that focuses on balanced, natural results. Committed to ongoing professional development, he holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry and is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics. Recognised as one of the leading ClearCorrect providers in the North East, he has also been invited to speak at ClearCorrect conferences. Passionate about building trust with his patients, Ruairi takes time to listen and understand their concerns, with a special focus on supporting nervous or anxious patients. Alongside his clinical role, he serves as a Clinical Development Advisor for mydentist, providing guidance and support to colleagues. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys CrossFit, Hyrox training, rugby, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
