Ramsha Akhtar is a dedicated Dental Hygienist with a strong focus on periodontal health and preventive dental care. Having trained overseas before beginning her clinical career in London, she is committed to helping patients improve and maintain their oral health through tailored hygiene treatments and education. Ramsha has a particular interest in non-surgical periodontal therapy, providing treatment for gingivitis and periodontitis using both ultrasonic scaling and hand instrumentation. She focuses on long-term gum health and maintenance, helping patients manage and prevent the progression of periodontal disease. She is also experienced in EMS Airflow® air polishing, an effective treatment for removing stains and enhancing the appearance of patients’ smiles. Known for her gentle and patient-centred approach, Ramsha takes the time to explain treatments clearly and provide practical advice to help patients care for their oral health between visits. She is passionate about creating positive experiences and helping patients feel comfortable, confident and well-informed throughout their care. Outside of work, Ramsha enjoys cooking and maintaining an active lifestyle through regular gym sessions and yoga.
