Matthew Gough graduated from Newcastle Dental School and quickly established himself as a talented clinician, becoming Regional Heat Winner and National Finalist in the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) Dental Skills Competition. He completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Restorative Dentistry at the renowned Tipton Training Academy and has gained experience in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Matthew is also interested in teeth straightening and provides short-term orthodontic treatments, including clear aligners and Inman Aligners. His approach combines meticulous attention to detail with a friendly, down-to-earth manner, helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment. Matthew believes dentistry is about more than teeth; it’s about improving confidence, function and quality of life. He takes pride in building lasting relationships with his patients and delivering care tailored to their individual goals. Matthew competes nationally in powerlifting and was runner-up at the 2025 English National Championships. When he’s not competing, you’ll likely find him playing guitar, spending time with his partner and their dog, or exploring the beautiful North East countryside.
