Kostas graduated from Gr.T. Popa University in 2018 with commendation and began his career as a field dentist in the Hellenic Armed Forces. In the following two years, he focused on his private practice providing a variety of treatment plans in Athens while promoting oral health in local senior houses.
His drive to improve his skills through a competitive Masters program and provide patient centric treatments pushed him in trying his hand in Scotland in 2023. With special interest in restorative and prosthetic dentistry, he joined the NHS of Dumfries and Edinburgh and takes pride in guiding patients through their dental journey and loves taking the time to understand each patient’s needs as “no two mouths are the same”. Primarily focused on routine dentistry at the moment, Kostas is a firm believer of using humour to approach even the most nervous patients and aims at meeting every patient’s needs with enthusiasm and honesty.
Proud to be part of the Consett team for a few months, Kostas enjoys living locally and exploring the North East outside of work. He is an avid fan of board-games and enjoys storytelling in any form, from literature to theatre.
