Dr Kate McNair graduated from Newcastle University in 2004 and went on to complete her vocational training in Edinburgh, where she gained membership of The Royal College of Surgeons. Over the past two decades, she has built extensive experience working across both Scotland and England, contributing to a wide range of NHS and private practices. This diverse background has equipped her with invaluable skills in all areas of general dentistry and a deep understanding of patient care in varied clinical environments. In addition to her clinical work, Kate now serves as an NHS mentor and Clinical Supervisor within the practice, supporting overseas dentists as they transition into working in the UK. In addition to working in Wigan, she joined our Lancaster team in 2024 and has since become a highly valued member of the practice. Kate is dedicated to providing exceptional, patient‑centered care in a relaxed and informative setting, with a strong emphasis on education and prevention. Outside of work, she enjoys enhancing her knowledge by attending courses, participating in study clubs, reading clinical journals and engaging in peer review to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry.
