Dr Dimitra Tsarouchi graduated in 2006 from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Dental Institute with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2008 before going on to work as a Senior House Officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Sussex and in private practice in Kent and Athens, Greece. In 2015, Dimitra completed her specialist training in periodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute in London and was awarded a Membership in Restorative Dentistry. She is registered on the GDC Specialist List for Periodontics and provides advanced periodontal care for patients with complex gum‑health needs. From 2017 to 2019, Dimitra also held the position of Clinical Research Fellow at Queen Mary University of London’s Dental School, further strengthening her academic and clinical expertise. Her passion for periodontics is rooted in the belief that improving patients’ oral hygiene habits and optimising periodontal health forms the essential foundation for long‑term oral wellbeing and successful advanced dental treatments. Dimitra is dedicated to helping patients understand their gum health and supporting them in achieving lasting, positive change.
