Billie-Jean Newman qualified at the University of Essex in 2022 and has helped patients improve and maintain their oral health ever since. Originally from Hertfordshire, she later relocated to Cambridgeshire and joined the team at St Ives Advanced Oral Health Centre, where she cares for patients through both dentist referrals and direct access appointments. Passionate about preventive dentistry, Billie is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthier smiles through personalised care, education and practical advice. She believes that supporting patients with the knowledge and skills to care for their oral health at home is just as important as the treatment they receive in practice. Her goal is to help patients build confidence in managing their oral health and maintaining the results of their care. Alongside her oral hygiene qualifications, Billie is qualified in Foundation and Advanced Facial Aesthetics and whitening treatments. Committed to ongoing professional development, she regularly attends courses to expand her knowledge and stay up to date with the latest techniques. Outside of work, Billie enjoys spending time with her partner, three children and six dogs.
