Anitha Gnanavel graduated in India in 2007 before completing three years of postgraduate training in Oral Surgery. She graduated with Honours and was awarded the University Topper Prize in recognition of her academic achievement. After successfully passing both the Overseas Registration Examination (ORE) and the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) examination of the Royal College of Surgeons, Anitha joined our practice in August 2016. In December 2022, she gained a postgraduate qualification in Dental Sedation and Pain Management, further expanding her clinical skills. Anitha provides all aspects of general dentistry and has a particular interest in minor oral surgery. Her experience includes dental implant placement, simple and complex tooth extractions, surgical removal of retained roots, wisdom tooth surgery and apicectomies. She is also a certified provider of Invisalign Go and Six Month Smiles, offering short-term orthodontic treatment options to patients seeking straighter smiles.
