Amina Patel qualified with a BSc in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from the University of Birmingham in 2025 and began her career with mydentist in May 2026. She is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care and enjoys helping patients feel comfortable, supported and confident throughout their appointments. Amina has a particular interest in periodontal treatment and is passionate about helping patients improve and maintain their oral health. She enjoys working closely with patients to support them in developing healthy habits and achieving long-term oral health goals. Amina is also interested in restorative dentistry, particularly composite restorations, and values the opportunity to restore both function and aesthetics using a minimally invasive approach. Dedicated to continuing her professional development, Amina is always looking to build on her knowledge and clinical skills. She also enjoys working with paediatric patients and takes pride in building positive relationships that help children feel comfortable when visiting the dentist. Outside of the practice, Amina enjoys baking, cooking and event styling. She loves expressing her creativity through designing celebrations and spending time with family and friends.
