Allena Namitala joined our Gillingham practice in August 2026 after relocating to the UK. With several years of clinical experience, she brings a strong understanding of oral health, preventive care and patient wellbeing to her role. After qualifying and practising as a general dentist in Uganda for four years, she continued her dental career in the UK, providing hygiene care and supporting patients in maintaining healthy, confident smiles. Allena is passionate about building genuine connections with her patients and particularly enjoys helping those who experience dental anxiety. She is committed to creating a calm, welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable, supported and confident in their care. Seeing patients leave with healthier smiles and a more positive outlook on their oral health is one of the most rewarding aspects of her work. With a strong focus on preventive dentistry, Allena enjoys educating patients about their oral health and helping them develop habits that support long-term wellbeing. Outside of the practice, Allena enjoys staying active through running, swimming and dancing. She also loves spending time outdoors, whether walking along the beach, exploring new cities or relaxing in nature with a good book.
