Dr.Cristian Ladus

Dr. Cristian Ladus grew up in Nafplio, the first capital of modern Greece. He attended the Medical university of Galati in Romania and graduated as a dentist in 2020. After he graduated he returned in Greece and served as a General dentist in a Military Hospital for 9 months in the Greek military Forces which offered him a good set of dental skill sets and experience. Looking to expand his knowledge and his career, he moved to the UK in 2022 and joined the {my}dentist Practice in York where he has been practising NHS and private dentistry ever since. Cristian works in a calm manner making patients feel as comfortable as possible overcoming fears about dental treatment. He puts a lot of focus in preventive dentistry and is committed in offering high standard treatment options always ensuring the patients best interest and oral health. Outside of work Cristian enjoys travelling, spending time in the gym, reading books and spending time with his loved ones.

Dr.Divyesh Sonigra

Divyesh qualified from Cardiff University in 2017 and has since worked in an oral and maxillofacial surgery. Having successfully completed his core training and 2 clinical fellow years, he now works as a Specialty Dentist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Amongst practicing general dentistry, his skills in oral surgery help patients through treatments such as complex extractions and wisdom tooth removals.
He takes a thorough, calming and empathetic approach which keeps patients at ease.
Outside of work, Divyesh enjoys football, long walks with his Bernese Mountain Dog and travelling. You can often see him in the practice with a colourful scrub cap.

Dr.Evangelos Raftopoulos

Evangelos studied dentistry at the medical university of Sofia where he graduated in 2022. After graduating, Evangelos worked in Greece for a few months and joined the {my}dentist York practice in September 2023 where he fitted in with the team instantly. Evangelos enjoys providing a wide range of treatment with a particular interest in prosthetic and restorative dentistry and is working with his mentor to enhance his skills constantly for his patients and give them the best treatment. Outside of work, Evangelos enjoys football, going to the gym and spending time with friends and loved ones exploring York and all the new experiences it has to offer.

Dr.Guillermo Dominguez

Guillermo studied dentistry at the European University of Madrid, qualifying in 2008. Guillermo´s interest in implantology began in 2009 when he completed Nobel Biocare's one year course in dental implantology at Cambridge University. In 2010, he then went on to achieve a Diploma of Restorative Dentistry at Leeds University. Furthering his career In Madrid in 2011- 2012 Guillermo completed a Certificate in Dental Implantology.
In 2013 Guillermo completed a 2 years full time Masters in Advanced Oral Implantology at the European University of Madrid, Spain This involved two periods of training at the NYU University, New York, EE. UU.
Guillermo is now focused in dental implantology and aesthetic dentistry, from simple to more complex cases of full mouth rehabilitations. For treatment planning, Guillermo uses the “Digital Smile Design” protocol in all his aesthetic treatments. Designing new smiles by computer gives him the ability to show patients a “mock up” prior to starting any treatment.
Guillermo likes to be known as William and welcomes referrals from local clinicians.

Dr.Imran Rangzeb

Dr Imran Rangzeb qualified in 2002 from The University of Manchester with a Bachelors in Dental Surgery. Dr Rangzeb brings a wealth of experience to our clinic. Early in his career, he completed multiple postgraduate courses in restorative dentistry and subsequently completed advanced training in orthodontics and implant dentistry. Dr Rangzeb has a passion for learning and introducing the latest techniques and materials for his patients. As part of the academy he has assisted in many teaching courses internationally, teaching dentists implant surgery. Dr Rangzeb offers a full range of dental implant treatments including immediate fixed teeth in a day, sinus lifting and bone grafting. With his passion for learning he has spent the last few years diving into the field of sleep dentistry and is currently an Affiliate of The Breathe Institute (LA, California), providing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment for sleep disordered breathing. He has been the official dentist of The Leeds United Football team for the past four years and has renewed his partnership with the club for the 2023/24 season. Outside of work he enjoys family time with his three children. Dr Imran is happy to accept referrals from local practices.

Dr.Joanna Mazurkiewicz

Joanna graduated from Medical University of Lodz, Poland in 2003. She joined our Practice in 2010 and since than she enjoys the variety of general dentistry that it brings, with more focus on endodontic therapy. She also completed a course in Clear Correct that allows her to use clear aligners for straightening our patient’s front teeth. Joanna has a fantastic repour with her patients with many saying they appreciate her professional mannerism. Joanna puts all her patients at ease with her calming personality and softly spoken voice.
Joanna is fluent in English, Polish and German.
Outside of work Joanna enjoys spending time with her family, loves cycling, swimming and volleyball. She is also a committed cat lover

Dr.Joshua Goh

Joshua, who is originally from Singapore, graduated with BDS from Queen Mary University of London 2020 and then went on to do his foundation year as a GDP in Essex, helping with all things general dentistry for the patients of Essex. Joshua then went on to do post grad dental core training in Max Fax where he was based in Norwich and Restorative where he was based in Aberdeen. Joshua joined the York team after relocating to Yorkshire in the end of 2023 and has really hit the ground running with patients here in York. Outside of work Joshua is a keen cook and loves to explore all that York has to offer after being new to the area.

Her main interests are non – invasive restorative, Invisalign and aesthetic dentistry. Mayoling graduated from The Central University of Venezuela before taking her Dentist ORE exam in 2008 in London. Mayoling is a highly skilled dentist who ran her own practice in Venezuela before settling here in the UK. She is very knowledgeable in all areas of dentistry and has a passion for learning, including a keen interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Mayloling's warm and caring nature instantly puts patients of all ages at ease. She enjoys treating children and has a special way with nervous patients. Her commitment to outstanding levels of patient care shine through consistently in her patient interactions.
Outside of dentistry, Mayoling loves mixing dancing and fitness with Zumba, and in quieter moments, relaxing with a good book.

Dr.Rosanne Mary McCallum

Rosie graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Newcastle in 2017. Since qualifying as a dentist she has spent 3 years working near Newcastle and moved to work in York in 2020. During that time, she passed the Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery exams allowing her to become a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. As a clear aligner teeth straightening provider, she enjoys improving patient’s smiles and restoring their confidence in attending the dentist as her calm and patient manner really helps anxious patients. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her Cocker Spaniels Poppy and Ozzy, playing the piano, yoga and running.

Mr.Richard Fortune

Richard Fortune is our Clinical Dental Technician, over his 30 year career Richard has gained a loyal patient base both at his laboratory at his home and at the practices he works at in the York area.
Richard makes a variety of different dentures for his patients ranging from standard acrylic to flexible dentures to work with the patient needs.
Richard works a Friday and offers new patients consultations to listen and work with the patient to create the smile they have always wanted. Richard is a favourite amongst our patients and is often spoke of fondly.
When he is not working here and at home Richard enjoys walking with his 10 dogs and spending time with his wife and 3 daughters.

Mrs.Purna Patel

Purna joined the practice in 2021 as our Dental Hygienist. She trained as a Dentist and qualified in 2004 in India before coming to the UK in 2006.
Purna is calm and very caring which is highly appreciated by the patients and our team. Purna has special interest in periodontal diseases and provides personalised advice to motivate her clients to maintain good oral health. She is meticulous at her hygiene work and always aims to give you a lovely fresh clean. Purna is a private dental hygienist here at {my}dentist York and works to aid our patients on our Saturday clinic. When not at work, Purna enjoys family time with her teenage son and her husband, along with cultural activities.

Nicole Pearcy graduated from Leeds University in 2007 with a diploma as a dental hygienist and dental therapist. Nicole has worked within the {my}dentist York team for a while now and has a great relationship with her colleagues and the patients she treats. Nicole provides patients with informative and caring advice towards their oral health. She likes to have a relaxing environment to help patients feel at ease and help nervous patients overcome some of their anxieties that are associated with visiting the dental practice. In her spare time she has a German shorthaired pointer which keeps her busy exploring York and the surrounding areas and enjoys gardening.

Eleni was born in Athens and graduated from Athens University in 2003. Eleni moved to the UK in 2005 and started practicing in York city centre. In late 2023 Eleni joined the {my}dentist Aldwark team and brought her sense of humour with her to our team. Many of our nurses and patients know Eleni from around York and she is settling in well within the team.
In her spare time Eleni, enjoys films, music , plays guitar and likes drawing and the occasional hike in the countryside. Eleni brings to the team general dentistry with a wealth of knowledge she has gained over the years of practicing.

Kanwal graduated in Pakistan in 2014 and has been associated with {my}dentist since 2023. In her role as a dental therapist, she performs tooth scaling and polishing, periodontal (gum) disease treatment, tooth whitening under prescription, cosmetic stain removal, periodontal (gum) disease treatment and tooth fillings for both adults and children.
Preventing oral disease is her passion, and she always makes sure to educate her patients on the importance of oral hygiene, giving them top tips on how to maintain healthy gums. Kanwal always strives to give patients a comfortable experience along with top-quality care. She is well-trained in managing patient anxiety and management of patients with special treatment needs.
Outside of work, Kanwal is a mum of two and enjoys spending time with family, be it at home or when they are out and about. Cooking is her forte and she spends her days off trying out new recipes and sometimes creating her own.
