HSC Northern Ireland dental care
HSC dental treatment is designed to support the health of your mouth, teeth and gums. It includes any treatment your dentist considers clinically necessary to help keep your mouth healthy and free from pain.
For most patients, this may include dental examinations, routine treatment and preventive care. HSC dental care can also include fillings, root canal treatment, extractions and dental appliances where clinically necessary.
The cost of your HSC dental treatment will depend on the care you need. Use our guide below to learn more about what treatment is available to you as an HSC patient in Northern Ireland.
HSC treatments and costs
The HSC fee structure will vary from patient to patient depending on the treatment required.
Information about treatment costs can be found on the nidrect website
If you are not entitled to free treatment or help with the cost of treatment then you are required to pay a charge for Health Service dental services. The charge is 80% of the cost up to a maximum of £384.
