Jennifer Cherington joined {my}dentist Carluke in February 2016. Jenni qualified from Dundee university in 2009. Jenni carries out both NHS and private work within the practice and has a special interest in facial aesthetics taking care of crows’ feet, frown lines, lip enhancement or plumping up creases around the lips. She is constantly in further training adding to her skillset within facial aesthetics. Jenni is competent in all aspects of general and conservation treatments with patient care and wellbeing always at the forefront for both NHS and private patients. Outside of work Jenni enjoys keeping fit, travelling, music festivals and taking care of her two Guinea pigs.

Dr.Mark MacLeod

Mark MacLeod qualified from Glasgow University with honours in 1997 and has worked at the practice since 2001.Since then Mark has developed his skills within dentistry on a continual basis determined to provide the best care module to his patients. Mark provides NHS and private treatment, his private treatment skill set includes short term orthodontics using the Clear Correct system, this has proved popular with his patients because of the great results over a short period of time at affordable prices. He also has training in snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea assesments, including treatment with Sleepwell appliances.
mark is an experienced practitioner who provides conscientious, diligent care for his patients. In his spare time he likes to keep active by golfing, swimming, gaming, walking his dog and supporting his football team.

Dr.Scott Cherington

Scott Cherington qualified form Dundee University in 2007 and spent the following year doing his vocational training in Arbroath. Since moving back to Lanarkshire, he has enjoyed many years of providing all aspects of dentistry and has furthered his training in several areas with a particular interest in implant, aesthetic dentistry and short term Orthodontics. Scott is a trained provider in Clear Correct short term Orthodontics, an affordable private solution to overcrowding teeth. Patient care is at the forefront of any treatment and he particularly enjoys making trips to the dentist as stress free as possible for his patients. Outside of work Scott likes to spend his time with family and friends. He also enjoys listening to and playing music he has an interest in building PCs and gaming.

Dr.Stewart William Robertson

Stewart Robertson joined the practice at {my}dentist Carluke in August 2016. Stewart qualified from Glasgow in 2015 and enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a special interest in short term orthodontics (a form of teeth straightening). Stewart provides Invisalign privately at competitive prices and has many happy patients who know have a confident smile. Stewart delivers both NHS and private treatments with an aim to ensure patient care and well-being is provided to the highest of standards within his practice to both NHS and private patients. On a more personal note, Stewart has an outgoing personality with a ready smile for everyone. Outside of dentistry, Stewart enjoys keeping fit, socialising with friends, travelling and motorbiking.

Joe qualified at Glasgow university in 2019 with honours. he has come to us here at Carluke on a temporary contract covering maternity leave and will be with us until April 2021 when we will be sad to see him go. Joe has and outgoing friendly personality with a real zest for Dentistry. He communicates well with his patients, his work ethics are first class and he is great at putting patients at ease. Joe provides both NHS and Private Dentistry. In his spare time Joe likes to keep fit and spends a lot of time doing physical training.

Ms.Angela Livingstone

Angela qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 2003 from Edinburgh where she won the prize for best clinician of the year. Shortly after qualifying Angela moved to the Isle Of Wight where she worked in private practice for 5 years. Angela moved back to Scotland in 2008 and has worked in a mix of practices since. As a Hygienist she is down to earth while remaining professional, Angela prides herself on dealing with and reassuring nervous patients. Angela can provide treatment under local anesthetic when required ensuring patient comfort. Angela has worked in Carluke since 2012 and in that time she has built up a good patient list she is very close to many of her patients. Angela says she feels very lucky to both live and work in the same town.
Outside of work her spare time is given to her wee dog, Dave. Angela got him 2 years ago and he’s changed her life. Woodland walks with him are her favourite thing, no matter the weather.

Sophie graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a BSc Honours degree in Oral Health Sciences in 2019.
Since then Sophie has worked within her full scope of practice, as a Dental Hygiene Therapist, in general and private practice. Working in different locations has allowed me to treat patients from very diverse backgrounds, delivering both hygiene and restorative treatments to adults and children.
Her favourite part of working in dentistry is making people feel at ease and comfortable in a situation many find daunting. Sophie recently completed a course specialising in advanced hygiene treatments and now plans to develop her interest in aesthetic dentistry by completing a course in tooth whitening.
In her spare time Sophie enjoys travelling, shopping and spending time with family and friends. Sophie is a very friendly, approachable person who loves to experience and learn new things.
