About Philip Murray Road, Uddingston

Welcome to {my}dentist, Philip Murray Road, Uddingston. We have recently merged our existing {my}dentist Uddingston and {my}dentist Bellshill practices and relocated into a brand-new state-of-the-art practice, with all the latest technology. We are a 8-surgery practice with surgeries on the ground floor level, with wheelchair and disabled access. We provide a variety of NHS, private and {my}options treatment plans including root canal, whitening, air flow stain removal, crowns, dentures and short-term orthodontics such as Clear Correct. The practice is easily accessible by public transport with a bus stop situated 2-minute walk from the practice and direct links to the motorway. There will be free parking on site within the retail park for patients. We welcome all patients to our practice and ensure all individuals are treated with the utmost care and attention from our highly skilled staff. We look forward to seeing you soon

  • Mrs.Maureen Henderson Female Qualified from: BDS university of glasgow 1993 United Kingdom, 1993 GDC No: 68842
    Maureen Henderson graduated from Glasgow University in 1993.She completed a years vocational training before taking up a position as an associate dentist in west Lothian in 1994 where she remained for 8 years. Maureen moved to Uddingston in March 2004 where she has been practicing general dentistry ever since.Providing both nhs and private options, Maureen strives to provide a caring and professional service to patients and always tries to make herself available and approachable to patients who need her help. She continues to keep up to date with her CPD requirements including involvement in audit activity and has recently enrolled to participate in a clinical trial run by Dundee University. Maureen has done further training to enable her to offer clear correct. Clear correct is a clear aligner system used to straighten teeth as an alternative to traditional braces.
  • Ms.Hira Iqbal Female Qualified from: BDS UK, 2019 GDC No: 283132
    Hira graduated with BDS (with commendation) from Glasgow University in 2019. She completed her vocational training in Lanark and moved to {my}dentist Uddingston in August 2020. Hira is committed to providing high quality NHS and private dental care to all of her patients. Her empathetic and compassionate nature makes her approachable. She aims to make her patients as comfortable and relaxed as possible. She successfully passed the part 1 examination for the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) in October 2020. She recently completed SmileFast, a course in composite bonding, to help improve the aesthetics of front teeth.
  • Ms.Robyn Edwards Female Qualified from: BSC oral health science United Kingdom, 2014 GDC No: 250967
    Robyn qualified from Glasgow Caledonian University as a dental hygienist/therapist in 2014 and joined the team at {my}dentist Uddingston shortly after. She has a passion for oral health and enjoys educating patients on the best way in which they can look after their teeth and gums. Her main role is treating patients with gum disease, ranging from minor to more advanced conditions. Robyn performs the most up-to-date treatment techniques in order to treat and maintain healthy gums. She regularly attends post graduate courses to allow her to expand her knowledge and keep up to date with the latest developments in the treatment of gum disease.
