Dr.Charlotte Alicia Mawby

Charlotte qualified from Sheffield University in 2016. After completing a year’s vocational training in Nottingham, she returned to Yorkshire and joined {my}dentist in 2017. Since qualifying, Charlotte has passed her exams (Part 1) for Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons England. Charlotte has also advanced her knowledge of teeth straightening with Invisalign Go. Charlotte is very eager to learn new things and is already looking into new courses to further herself as a general practitioner. She’s a breath of fresh air with new knowledge and new ideas. Charlotte enjoys working within her local community; her most recent project involves delivering oral health education in schools to try and prevent a fear of the dentist developing and to try to reduce tooth decay rates in the area. Charlotte recently became a new mum and so she loves long walks with her family and even the odd skiing trip.

Dr.Daniela Stirc

Daniela qualified as a dental practitioner in 2004 in Romania. She started working for {my}dentist in 2009 and since then has completed a facial aesthetics course in 2010 which she later developed further in 2015 with Brian Franks. In 2018, Daniela achieved her Masters in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Manchester. Since completing her masters, Daniela has enjoyed implementing her knowledge and skills into her every day clinic. She also enjoys providing treatments such as smile makeovers and facial aesthetics. In her spare time Daniela enjoys spending time with her family and following the new techniques in facial aesthetics.

Dr.Yehya Gamie

Yehya qualified as a general dental practitioner in 2006 from the University of Sheffield. In 2013 he joined the {my}dentist team where he has enjoyed providing excellent treatment in all aspects of general dentistry. Yehya has always had an interest in developing his clinical knowledge in the field of minor oral surgery and implantology. He has spent some time working alongside the maxillofacial department in Liverpool Hospital where he continues to work improving his clinical skills in minor oral surgery and fixed dental solutions. Yehya has also used his time in the dental industry to pursue his interest in facial aesthetics, despite all his other clinical studies Yehya still enjoys developing his knowledge in facial aesthetics and developing his clinical techniques. In his spare time when not visiting his family Yehya enjoys keeping fit, travelling and keeping up with technology and current affairs.

Miss.Emma Woodward

Emma joined our {my}dentist team in 2016 after qualifying from the Leeds Dental Institute with a distinction in her Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing. She also received an award for Best Dental Diseases Project in her studies at the Leeds Teaching Hospital. Since working for {my}dentist, Emma has developed her chair side assisting and is currently enrolled in an implant dental nursing course. She is currently working alongside our implant dentist assisting in surgical procedures and is responsible for the patient journey of all our implant patients. Emma is also interested in prosthetic dentistry, she works with our clinical dental technician to provide our patients with their best prosthodontic solutions. Emma enjoys building a rapport with her patients and providing them with the best patient journey possible. When she isn’t working, Emma enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.

Miss.Rebecca Mills
(Therapist)
Qualified from: Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy England, 2016

Rebecca qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist in 2016 from the University of Sheffield. Prior to this, Rebecca was a qualified Dental Nurse working chair side with a dentist so uses her vast knowledge and experience from both roles daily.
Since qualifying, Rebecca has gained a vast amount of experience in restorative work and has a keen interest in preventative dentistry. She also has a qualification in tooth whitening and can provide a number of cosmetic treatments to brighten her patient's smile.
In her spare time Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and friends and most importantly looking after her two dogs.

Miss.Stephanie Martyn

Steph joined {my}dentist originally back in 2007 as a trainee dental nurse and in 2010, she left our practice to have a family. In 2014 Steph re-joined our team and qualified as a dental nurse in 2016. Since returning to the team, Steph has worked with several of our dentists nursing for implants, facial aesthetics and smile makeovers. Steph has a wide range of knowledge across all aspects of dentistry and as our Treatment Co Ordinator, she enjoys following the patients journey throughout their treatment getting them to the smile they’ve always wanted.
Steph also still enjoys nursing and developing her knowledge further by enrolling herself on multiple courses in implant dentistry and specialist treatments.

Mrs.Amna Saied
Qualified from: Statutory Exam Khartoum, 2009

Amna originally qualified in 1998 but then went on to qualify in 2009 as a general practitioner in Khartoum Sudan. She had always had a special interest for oral surgery and restorative dentistry. She later developed this and enrolled herself on many additional courses in oral surgery and restorative dentistry including one area of interest being restorative endodontic. She then achieved her Masters in Oral Surgery Pathology in 2008 from the University of Sheffield. Amna started working for {my}dentist back in 2012 and enjoys building a rapport with her patients ensuring she can provide the best treatment possible. Amna has now extended her knowledge to clear correct. Clear Correct is a clear aligner system used to straighten teeth as an alternative to traditional braces.
In her spare time Amna enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.

Mrs.Juhannis Borhan
Qualified from: BDS Belfast, 2001

Juhannis qualified as a general dental practitioner in 1997 from the Queens University in Belfast following this she went on to the Leeds Dental Hospital where she spent some time working on the restorative department developing her skills and knowledge in restorative dentistry. She has always had an interest in restorative dentistry and later in 2001 she achieved her Masters of Restorative Dentistry from the Leeds Dental Hospital. In 2014 she started working for {my}dentist where she has enjoyed putting her restorative knowledge and skills to practice treating her many patients at {my}dentist Bond Street, Juhannis finds that having the chance to listen and understand her patient’s requirements and working with the patient through every step, means that her patients get exactly what they want whilst striving to create a pleasant and happy experience from start to finish. Juhannis has now extended her knowledge to clear correct. Clear Correct is a clear aligner system used to straighten teeth as an alternative to traditional braces. She enjoys spending time with her family and in her spare time she follows and supports her children’s extracurricular activities.
