Alan spent the first four years of his career as a GDP on the Wirral (Merseyside), where he quickly realised that his passion lay in Orthodontics. Encouraged by a local orthodontist he embarked upon the full time post graduate orthodontic course at Liverpool Dental Hospital.
Upon completion of his orthodontic training he returned to Leeds and in 1987 acquired a long established city centre orthodontic practice; where he happily remained until March 2014. Over the last 27 years running his own specialist practice, Alan developed a keen interest in combined functional / fixed appliance therapy.
Alan now works as an orthodontist at Love Your Smile where he provides specialist orthodontic treatment to both children and adults.
Married with four children, all now “20 something’s”; Alan enjoy's travelling, walking, spending time with his family, playing badminton and saxophone in a local band.

Chris qualified in Dentistry from Leeds University in 2003. Following vocational dental training in Yorkshire, he gained experience in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery, General Dental practice, the Community dental service and Paediatric Dentistry before taking a gap year to travel. He then taught at LDI before further experience in Paediatric Dentistry.
He completed his Specialist Orthodontic training at Bristol Dental Hospital and the Royal United Hospital, Bath, gaining Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons and completing a Doctoral Degree. He undertook advanced Orthodontic training to Consultant level at York Hospital and LDI and was appointed as Consultant in Orthodontics at Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield, 2014. He is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Training Programme Director for Dental Core trainees at Pinderfields. He is a reviewer for several dental/orthodontic journals.
Chris currently provides private Specialist Orthodontic treatment using a range of aesthetic appliances.

David hails from Toronto Ontario, Canada. He trained as a dental technician in Canada, then partnered with his brother at the full service dental lab, Smile Designs Veige Laboratory. David opened a UK wing of Smile Designs Dental Laboratory based in Harrogate, where his laboratory work is performed by himself or Master Ceramist from Italy.
David qualified from Newcastle University with a distinction in academic dentistry and the top restorative dentistry prize. He was shortlisted for the Young Dentist of the year UK at The Dentistry Awards, 2009. He's successfully been awarded membership to the Royal College of Surgeons Joint Dental Faculty by way of examination.
He graduated with merit from Warwick University with a Masters of Science degree in implant dentistry. He's a member of the International Team for Implantology (www.iti.org) an organisation focused on advancing implant dentistry. David limits clinical practice to implants, focusing on high quality patient care.

Jill graduated in Dentistry from the University of Leeds in 2002. She then spent the next four years gaining experience in general practice, maxillofacial surgery and paediatric dentistry.
She undertook her postgraduate orthodontic specialist training at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield, and received her Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2010. During her training she also gained a Master of Clinical Dentistry degree from the University of Sheffield.
Jill joined this practice in May 2010 and is really excited about her future career in orthodontics.
Outside of work Jill is a keen netball player and enjoys travelling with her family.

Mick moved up from Kent to attend university and qualified as a dentist from Leeds Dental Institute in 1998. He then worked in Australia in 2000 whilst on a round the world trip, spending some time in the school dental and the flying doctors services. He returned to the U.K. and worked in general dental practice and in hospital maxillo-facial surgery in the Yorkshire region prior to starting his specialist orthodontic training in Leeds and York in 2007. He works here at Love Your Smile treating both children and adults with orthodontic appliances including lingual braces and invisalign.
Mick is married and became a father for the first time in 2009. He now enjoys life with his young family as well as the occasional game of golf and watching rugby, as his playing days are now behind him.

Shaheer graduated from the University of Mysore, India in 2000. His interest has always been in Endodontology and in 2005 he gained an MSc in Endodontics from the University of Manchester.
In 2007, he added to his qualifications by gaining the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Shaheer has worked in both NHS & private practices in the UK accepting endodontic referrals since 2005. He has worked in the Department of Restorative Dentistry in Aberdeen, Dundee & Glasgow Dental Hospitals gaining extensive experience in Restorative and Endodontic clinics, working on patients referred in from GDP’s, cases deemed too difficult for general practice. During this time he developed his surgical endodontic skills and was required to work in a multidisciplinary approach with other key hospital operators and consultants. He provides endodontic care utilising the operating microscope and microsurgical instruments.

Joanne started her career as a dental nurse and very quickly moved onto university to study dental hygiene and dental therapy. She qualified from the University of Leeds in 2009 with distinction. She immediately began working as a dental therapist for the Community Dental Service in North Yorkshire and Bradford, working alongside the specialist paediatric and special care team.
In 2014 Joanne left the Community Dental Service to focus on developing her skills within general practice and has been working as a dental hygienist in practices across Leeds since. Recently Joanne has joined the specialist orthodontic and implant centres within mydentist, working with patients to improve their oral health and treat periodontal disease.
Joanne is also a qualified tutor, teaching student dental nurses, and is involved in continuing professional development for dental professionals.

Sue is a dentist with a special interest in Orthodontics. She has worked at Orthosolutions since it first opened in 2000, moving from general dentistry into orthodontics. With a diploma in primary care orthodontics, she works as part of a team with Dr Scott, Dr Boyd and Dr Vincent and the practice’s therapists.
Over the years Sue has seen many families through their treatment and thoroughly enjoys working at Orthosolutions. As well as orthodontics, Sue sees adult patients requiring tooth bleaching, which is rapidly becoming very popular.
Additionally, she works one day a week in the Orthodontic Department at the Montagu Hospital in Mexborough seeing more complex cases.
Out of work Sue enjoys spending time with her three grown up daughters and enjoys walking, baking and watching sci-fi.
