About mydentist, Newland Avenue, Hull

Welcome to {my}dentist Newland Avenue, Hull. We are a friendly 6-surgery practice. You can find us down Newland Avenue, just round the corner from Cottingham Road. We are situated close to the town centre, and to Hull University with regular bus routes nearby. We have 7 clinicians on hand that offer NHS and private treatments. We have options for patients to spread the cost of treatments over three months with AppToPay, and have finance options available with V12, our receptionists are on hand to assist with this. Some of the private treatments we offer include tooth whitening with Enlighten Whitening, and Philips Whitening. We have a clinician offering minor oral surgery, and offer facial aesthetic treatments, endodontic treatments and private dentures. Our hygiene therapist offers private appointments from a simple scale and polish, to airflow stain removal. She offers a hygiene payment plan to help spread the cost of care from £9 per month. Contact our reception team who will be happy to discuss all of your dental needs. We look forward to welcoming you!

    "Courteous,Professional and friendly. Everything was Straightforward and didn't take long for treatment to be completed. I would like to thank the receptionist team especially Emma and Samantha for making me feel at ease, as soon as I walked through the door they made me feel welcome and Rachael Getgood the Dentist was amazing at keeping me informed all the way through the procedure and her nurse Chloe did a fabulous job reassuring me! I highly recommend and thankyou to all the team involved."

    "My two young children had their first appointment in just over a year last Saturday due to the closures and measures put in place from Covid. I was anxious about bringing them but was completely reassured. I received a telephone call the day prior to confirm the arrival process and what to expect when arriving at the practice we where also asked about our current health and a quick screening/covid questionnaire was completed the receptionist Sam was lovely and put me completely at ease. When arriving at the appointment I was greeted at the doors of the practice, myself and two children where all temperature checked and asked to sanitise our hands the practice was immaculate and all social distancing markings/measures where in place. All Staff wore P. P. E ie Face Masks etc. I know it's not the easiest of times right now but Charlie and her Nurse Hannah where amazing as usual with the children, the visit was quick, smooth and we felt completely safe! Thank you to the Mydentist team Newland Avenue!"

  • Dr.Charlotte Rowles Qualified from: BChD University of Leeds United Kingdom, 2010 GDC No: 192594
    Charlotte qualified from The University of Leeds in 2014. She moved to Hull to complete her foundation training year and loved Hull so much she stayed decide to stay. In 2014 Charlotte passed her MFDS exams to become a member of the Dental Faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow. She enjoys family dentistry and helping people to manage their dental health. Outside of dentistry, Charlotte has a passion for Formula 1 and is also a keen rugby league supporter who regularly watches the Hull Kingston Rovers. Charlotte also enjoys taking her dog for walks on the Westwood.
  • Dr.Geethi Kizhatoor Qualified from: Statutory Exam 2008 India, 2002 GDC No: 166101
    After graduating in India in 2002, Geethi completed her statutory examination in the UK in order to be registered as a dentist with the General Dental Council. Geethi completed her masters in Dental Public Health in 2008 from Manchester University. Geethi has attended several post graduate courses in order to keep her knowledge and skills up to date, and she has a keen interest in preventative dentistry. She treats her patients the way she would want to be treated and strives to give every patient a comfortable, stress free and rewarding dental experience. Apart from work, Geethi enjoys listening to music and spending quality time with her family and friends.
  • Dr.Kriti Saini Qualified from: Rajiv Gandhi India, 2006 GDC No: 105678
    Kriti studied at Rajiv Gandhi University in 2003 graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Bangalore, India, She then went on to pass her license examination (I.Q.E) for working in the UK in 2006. Kriti has also gained a ‘PgDip’ in Healthcare Management from Keele University. Kriti has worked in Ireland, Doncaster, Southampton, Scunthorpe and Hull. She has recently gone back to university to gain further qualifications from University of Chester, Simply Endo to gain an MSc in Endodontics. Kriti has attended many courses to improve her clinical knowledge with a keen interest in restorative dentistry and endodontics. She strives to provide the best possible care to all her patients in all aspects of dentistry. Kriti really enjoys spending time with her husband and son when she is not at work, she really enjoys travelling and her favourite country is Spain.
  • Dr.Rachael Getgood Qualified from: BDS University of Sheffield 2012 United Kingdom, 2012 GDC No: 228896
    Rachael qualified from The University of Sheffield in 2012, then moved to Hull for two years of further training. She is still here years later, having worked at the Newland Avenue practice since 2014. Rachael works mainly as an NHS dentist, and has several years of experience working at the local hospital, providing minor oral surgery such as wisdom tooth removal, surgical extractions and biopsies. Rachael believes that everyone should have access to good quality dentistry, and aims to provide this for all her patients. She has a lot of experience working with anxious patients and aims to help them build their confidence in the dental chair. In addition to general dentistry, Rachael offers surgical extractions and wisdom tooth removal on a private basis, as well as providing Enlighten Whitening.
  • Dr.Supreet Kaur Qualified from: BDS India, 2013 GDC No: 268232
    Supreet qualified from India in 2013 & cleared Overseas Registration Examination conducted by G.D.C. , U.K in 2016. After finishing her vocational training in Brighton, Supreet located to Hull to join her husband. She has keen interest in general & Restorative Dentistry and is willing to master Facial Aesthetics in future. She likes to keep herself updated with better dental approaches, latest developments in dentistry and is always putting patient’s interests & comforts first. A smile on her patient’s face brings a smile on hers. Outside Dentistry, she loves walking, travelling and spending time with family & friends.

  • Mrs.Lyndsey Archer (Hygienist) Qualified from: Dental Hygiene and Therapy DipHE Sheffield UK 2018 United Kingdom, 2018 GDC No: 226893
    Lyndsey qualified as a Dental Therapist from the University of Sheffield in 2018. Whilst studying she gained lots of experience working at the Charles Clifford Teaching Hospital. Her favourite placements were within the community dental services and within the oncology unit. Lyndsey has a calming manner and prides herself on being a friendly and approachable clinician making her good with nervous patients and children. She has an interest in periodontal disease and restorative dentistry. She takes great satisfaction in giving patients the tools they need to improve their overall oral health. Lyndsey accepts patients through in house referrals, both on the NHS and privately, and also by direct access on a private basis. Lyndsey enjoys spending time with her family, going for walks and she is also a member of her local women’s running club.
